The Beveled Edge

The sales consultant was friendly and helpful in selecting the material for the mat. The work was of excellent quality and was done in the time promised. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely use the services of the Beveled Edge again. We much prefer dealing with them than with the larger franchised stores such as Michaels.

The employees were very helpful and patient. They made great suggestions and produced an excellent framed print for hanging in our home.

They assisted and guided me to the best combination of matts for the art and the frame came easily after that. Estimated the costs and finished when promised.

I had a great framing experience that ended up with the most beautiful, quality-crafted frame I ever could have hoped for. They have more frame options than you could imagine (certainly more than I ever expected.) You think there are tons of options when you walk into the framing area, then all the walls open up to just as many more! The staff was very helpful and the result was amazing. The only down side is that they were more expensive than I had expected. It was a small print (about 6" x 12"), and while I did get a substantial frame and an upgraded mat, and the quality of the framing was far more impressive than I ever expected (I feel confident that 40 years from now it will still be in as wonderful a condition as it is today), initially, I was more than a bit freaked out when they told me the price. I tried not to react freaked out (I saved that for the privacy of my car), but I was (I had mentally prepared myself for $150 and it was $380). I had always had my custom framing done at Hobby Lobby, which is OK, but not even close to the quality of The Beveled Edge. So, as with anything in life, you get what you pay for. Having my first 'quality framing' experience under my belt, I will definitely go back to The Beveled Edge for future custom framing (I'll just be a little more emotionally prepared for the cost!) I have a rule that I won't have anything custom framed until it has been on my wall (in the same place) for at least one year - that way, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I love it enough to spend the money to frame it. The Beveled Edge not being cheap has actually reinforced the importance of that rule, which has resulted in my doing less custom framing (since I only frame what I really, really love and feel is worth the investment). So, in a way, having The Beveled Edge as my new framer has actually saved me money in the long-run!

They do a good job. Their pricing was good. They were patience in dealing with me.
