+ -1 moreCrew did not show when they said they would. I was never called. I had to call several hours later to find out what was going on. They told me they apparently overbooked and couldn't get to me today. They said they would call back and let me know when they could do it. I never received a call. I once again had to call to ask details and they came the next day. The tree was taken down pretty quick. There was some damage to the lawn from their heavy machines. No compensation was offered to me for the problems.

Description of Work: They removed two old and very large trees from our front yard. One of the tree was a 3 trunk sycamore and had to be hard to get down.

+ -1 moreCalled to schedule an estimate, spoke with a lady who said he would return my call. Within minutes he called to schedule the free estimate. Kevin came out the next day when he said he would have us an estimate for tree removal and stump grinding and was available the next day to do the project. They came and the tree was gone when I returned from work. They cleaned up great and even took a pile of branches we had laying in the back yard...we will definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreThey removed 4 trees (ranging from small to large), ground the stumps, and trimmed several trees at one property. They then removed two very large trees (3 ft and 5ft in diameter) from another property and ground the stumps. Their price was great for all the work done and they cleaned up really well. They came when they were supposed to. They have the equipment to work in tight places and with very difficult removals. At one point they had a 60 ft crane in our yard. I would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThey did the job. I specifically recall that price because we recently were hit with a tornado so I didn't have to get them back out to do more work. He was very agreeable to come out with pretty much standard working hours. He was very professional, very accurate. He gave me the quote on site and he gave me the date when to come out and they came out and took three very large trees down and when I got home from work that day, the gate from the backyard was close and I could not tell that they were here other than the trees were cut down. They were immaculate.

Description of Work: Two large old maple trees were downed by high winds, ripping the trees over so that the large root balls ob both trees were upended - perpindicular to the yard. The trees fell on top of and demolished our garden shed. Tanksley had done a good job for us before, so we called them again. They removed both large trees and both huge root balls and demolilshed and removed the remains of our shed, including all the damaged stuff inside of it. We asked them to please do what they could to not further damage the landscape plants (hosta, ferms, lenten roses) that were next to the shed and the trees. They were thoughtful about not doing any more damage to the surrounding plantings. They were also punctual and hard-working. We'd use them again.

Description of Work: Large section of neighbor's tree fell in storm. It crashed through our fence and took all power and telephone lines with it. We called a number of tree services and NES, but got no responses (everyone was busy). My husband found Tanksley Tree workers by walking down the block - they were removing a large tree from a neighbor's yard. The lead worker came down right away to our house and gave us the $1400 estimate for removing the section of the tree both from our yard and our neighbor's yard (she was out of town). They returned the next day (when they said they would) and did the work. When we got home from work, the tree was gone from our yard and our neighbor's yard and they hadn't destroyed our landscaping. The workers have a rough appearance, but they do a rough job.
