They ordered it and they delivered it but even before they lifted it off the truck it was messed up. So they ordered a new one and they came and delivered it and it had some issues. Initially we had their repair guy to come out look at it to see what he could do and as he was fixing it he discovered more issues and he advised us to have it replaced. The bed is supposed to be from one of the best furniture makers and it is supposed to be expensive but we got it on sale and the quality is supposed to match the price. We found that it is not true. Anyway when we initially ordered the bed we called the store manager and we were hoping that they could call the bed manufacturer or something would be done just to ensure that we would not have an issue again. We actually asked him to that. But the new bed that we just got now is messed up as well. So they ordered a new one which we should have by the end of the month. We had decided that we would better buy a nice piece of furniture every couple of years. It has been frustrating that even after a year we are still waiting for the actual bed that we wanted to have.

I ordered couch in October 2012 for new family room and was told the couch would ship in 4-6 weeks. I called the store in December and was told the fabric I selected was on back order but would be at the factory in a week. I requested that the sales associate call the factory the following week and confirm the fabric had arrived. The sales associate ensured me that she would confirm the receipt of the fabric with the factory and would call me if the fabric did NOT arrive. I called Sprintz in Jan 2013 to check the status of the couch again and was told the fabric had not arrived and should arrive in Feb 2013. Ugh. The associate and sales manager accepted no responsibility for the delay. The sales associate was also not concerned that she never called to tell me the status of the couch. Sprintz has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is too bad because they do have a nice selection of furniture. I promptly cancelled the order.

This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever been involved in. After I made the initial call, Tammy and another decorator, Mary Beth Johnson, agreed to come to my house to discuss the decorating project. I showed them around the house, and we agreed that the master bedroom would be the test case to determine whether I would hire them for the rest of the house. Tammy and Mary Beth said that they would be working the design together and that I would be getting two decorators for the price of one. I paid a small deposit to get them started ($150, I think), and they said they would get back to me in a few days. Side note - I only heard from Mary Beth one other time after this initial consultation. A week or so later, I got a call from Tammy asking me to come to the Sprintz store to review some bedroom furniture she had picked out. We agreed on a date/time, and I went to the Sprintz store. I looked at the stuff she had picked out, but I wasn't really entralled by any of it, so I told her to keep looking and left. After I got home, I did some searching on the Internet, and I found a bedroom suit that I really liked from Stanley. I called Tammy to see if she could get it, and she said she could. A few days later she wanted me to review the window treatment (curtains/drapes) design they had come up with, so I made another trip to the Sprintz store. On this trip, I paid a deposit for the bedroom furniture and reviewed the window treatment. The pricing seemed pretty high on the window treatment ($3000), but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and told her to proceed. From here on, there were so many issues, I can't name them all. First, the bedroom furniture delivery date kept getting pushed back until it was finally delivered in October. Second, the window treatment kept running into issues and didn't get completed until April 2011. By that time, I had had it with Tammy and gave her an ultimatum to get the window treatment done or refund my money. The window treatment was a custom job with blackout curtains. I'm not entirely sure what caused all the delays. The stories I got were problems with the fabric, scheduling issues with the fabric cutters, troubles getting the installation scheduled, and so on. Tammy always had an excuse... When I could get her on the phone, that is... She was often hard to reach. I ended up sleeping on a temporary bed for months and had to put up temporary curtains for most of a year. I have no problem with the furniture itself. it is fine. The window treatment is ok, but the curtains are so thick that you can't really open them. The curtains had little pinholes in them when they were first hung, and I called Tammy about it. The installer came back out and filled in the holes with liquid paper on the back, and that worked. Not what I'd expect out of something this expensive. I don't know if the other decorators are better or worse, but i would not recommend Sprintz decorators to anyone under any circumstances.
Description of Work: This review is only in regards to my experience with using Sprintz decorator services. I bought a new house in June 2010, and I needed to outfit the house with furniture. I asked my realtor if she knew any interior decorators, and she referred me to a Sprintz decorator named Tammy Wagner. Everything went downhill from here. Since I hadn't used their services before, I limited the initial scope to one room, the master bedroom, in my house. Depending on how that went, I would do other rooms. We never made it to any other rooms let alone completing the one room.
