The guy arrived 2 hours earlier than scheduled and just said "yeah, I'm early" and laughed it off. No call or email or anything asking if this was OK for us. They sprayed and left residue along all the outer walls of the inside of the house. Ants were and are still coming in from one wall.

Description of Work: I hired them via an Angie's List deal for a one-time mosquito treatment for $59. They didn't recontact me to schedule the spraying, so I called them once or twice and sent them an email. When that didn't work, I emailed Angie's List, and then the provider contacted me immediately. They were friendly and professional and were able to schedule the spraying very timely. They were fairly prompt for the appointment and worked quickly and professionally. They were also flexible with pricing when I asked them about spraying for wasps and carpenter bees while they were there. The gentleman performed the extra service for me right then and there. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, though I wish they would have been a little better about contacting me initially for scheduling. I'm not sure what happened there, but it wasn't a big deal in the end.

It went alright. We still had ants afterwards. They were pleasant and not rude. They followed up with me a couple of times.

My experience with them was fine. I'm not sure how good their chemicals are. They keep the pests at bay, but it's not for long. And then you can't schedule so far in advance. It's almost like they want to do their work at the cheapest level possible, but they're charging as much as anybody else. My contract with them is up in three months and I will not be using them again. I was already a customer when I saw the Big Deal advertised on Angie's List. I asked them for the same price, but they said I had to purchase it through Angie's List to get that price. They wouldn't just give me the reduced price, and I'm an established customer. They're okay. I live in an older house and neighborhood that has a lot of foliage. They tend to get here early, and that's not always convenient.

.We contacted SPC for their yearly maintenance plan - specifically due to ant infestation. Within days the ants were gone. We were told we could call back free of charge, under plan terms, for any future ant problems. Very nice.
Description of Work: We had the yard sprayed for mosquitoes. Our property is surrounded by foliage and trees plus it rained so the treatment only lasted approx. 3 weeks which makes it high priced for the value. We are going to use this company for yearly pest control (ants, stink bugs, spiders, etc.) but will investigate an alternate treatment for mosquitoes such as a CO2 trap.

Description of Work: Very professional - did a great job. Date and price are approximate. We bought the mosquito spray special. It worked extremely well for the first 3 weeks but seems to be wearing off gradually. We may hire them again next summer but only if we are having out of town guests. The reason being, we lost some pollinators (bumble bees, butterflies) as well as mosquitos to the chemicals and we try to be sensitive to environmental stress issues.

Description of Work: I purchased a Termite and pest control contract for 2 years of service. It was my understanding when I discussed the service over the phone with the Sales Rep that they would treat the home for Termites and then inspect annually. I purchased an additional service for them to come out and spray for spiders and other bugs. They will come back seasonally or I can call them to come back more frequently. It seemed like a good deal until I found out that they did not treat the ground for Termites around the entire perimeter. Apparently the contract is to only inspect and treat the location of activity if they see any. This was not clarified when I asked for a contract for Termite Treatment. The additional treatments on the interior for spiders has been hit or miss. It did kill some but I still had spiders. | |The tech has been very professional and arrives on time. On a positive note they did contact me to schedule the annual inspection for Termites. However, this really is not adequate coverage for a home in Tennessee. Spot treating does not provide a barrier and should a colony ever make it to my home they can easily take up residence and do damage to the home before it's discovered during the annual inspection and that's assuming they find it. | |

They come out when I want them to. They also guaranteed their work and also they checked to make sure that I don't have termites. If there is an infestation of termites, they agreed to cover that under the same plan. They were on time and very professional. They didn't say I have to stay under the contract. He is very thorough and explained what he was doing.
