The one that goes here is reliable, responsive with special requests and does a very good job. I'm much more satisfied with the quality of her work.

I used them about two years ago. She was very good for the first couple of years but her work started to deteriorate. She started to not show up for her appointments and consequently I wasn't able to have confidence in her consistency and therefore, I wasn't able to work with her anymore. I don't think I would ever use her again.

i haven't had issues with unresponsiveness, but the quality of work has definitely changed recently.

It was 5 hrs. and overall my friend said they were very efficient and courteous and did a good job, but didn't like the idea that they were 30 min. early.

After 10 weeks having her clean our home, my wife and I agreed tonight that she was just not a fit. We just did not have a comfortable trust level with her. We tried our best to hope things would work out but there were so many times she was late or had a different excuse for us. We continued to look past the excuses because she did a nice job cleaning and her prices were low. I was not comfortable with the outfits she would arrive in as I think they were a little inappropriate. In the end, we just realized that we had more complaints than we did compliments. I expect a certain level of professionalism in this position which we did not receive.

I had a cleaning scheduled with another company for 4 days before a major surgery, as I wanted to come home to a spotless house for recovery. The other company completely fell through - no call, no show, and no response. So I quickly got on Angie's list, and picked Shell's Cleaning because of the positive reviews and the ability to handle emergency calls. Shell called me back within minutes, and was able to schedule me right away. She scheduled me for 3 hours, but the job ended up taking 5. She will work until the job is done, and it's done well. On top of that, she brings her own supplies (except vacuum cleaner), and her charges are very reasonable. So I now have her coming back regularly for maintenance cleaning. Keep in mind that she works alone, so scheduling may require a little bit of flexibility. But she is very prompt for her appointments. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending Shell to anyone.

Contacted her to do a thorough housecleaning with the understanding of cleaning every other week with some occasional pet sitting. She responded quickly and we set it up for a Monday. She called the night before to confirm. So far we were impressed. Her prices seemed reasonable and she appeared very nice. Monday came. No show. Wouldn't answer the phone or return calls. We didn't know what had happened and were very concerned, calling her numerous times. She finally called back the evening of the second night on Tuesday. Said she had been in a bad wreck on the way to the house. She had been taken to the hospital and couldn't find her cell phone. She wanted to then come on Wednesday. We again gave her directions and she assured us that she just had a bump on the head and that she felt fine and that she would come at 9:00am the next day. She never showed and never called. We called her several times and finally left a message and told we wished her well and hoped that she was okay, but did expect some kind of notification or phone call of cancellation. We went ahead and found someone else and informed her of such. Her reviews were good, she was very kind on the phone, however just not responsive in returning phone calls or advising us on her situation.

She does a very good job of picking up after my boys and organizing for them. She is very thorough in her cleaning.

Michelle has been cleaning for us for about 5 years. She is pleasant, hard working, fastidious, and brings her own supplies. She is very trustworthy and flexible with her scheduling.

Shell does an exemplary job with a great attitude and positive disposition. She is fast, energetic, and before I know it, my house is clean. She has been able to shine my hardwood floors where other cleaners left a dull, waxy finish on it. I have two cats, which present their own cleaning challenges, but she works around the cat fluff flying through the air and vacuums up everything. She is diligent, consistent, and is never, ever late. She is also flexible on those days when something unexpected pops up and you have to reschedule. Shell is a hard worker and a real professional, and I recommend her highly.
