Seven Stone Surface Fabricators-Nashville

Description of Work: Last week, Seven Stone sent a field representative to measure our kitchen to replace our existing counters. The field rep was very professional and helpful with our project. Several days later, after we left a phone call message to ask about our quote request, the sales rep called back and quoted an approximate amount over the phone. We asked for a written quote which we received yesterday. The price was very close to the verbal and we called the sales rep with a few questions in order to finalize the purchase. This morning, the sales rep called back to withdraw her quote. She explained that she had not had the correct information when preparing the estimate and the revised price would be $85/sqft not the original price of $45/sqft. She said she had talked to her asst. manager and store manager and the Corian we wanted could not be installed for $45/sqft. This is the same Corian we priced at Home Depot for $49/sqft. Obviously Seven Stone does not want our business and they have succeeded in running off a customer.

Description of Work: This was a Home Depot special on quartz countertops. We ordered through Home Depot, but Seven Stone provided the quartz and installed it. They did a great job, and we're very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: Replaced an old worn out countertop with a beautiful granite counter top.
