Safe Step Walk In Tub

Beware of the Safe Step Walk in Tub Company. Terry Bradshaw is their current salesman on national media. I filed a BBB complaint in January 2020. Please consider reading it for more specific information. Company's response was to infer I am a bitter unreasonable customer and they are a benevolent company that fulfilled all contract obligations. They did fulfill the contract. Their shower product is installed in my house. The fact that the salesman lied about who would perform the construction work and what services the company provides is irrelevant. That the subcontractor gutted the shower on 12/4 and didn’t finish the 2-4 day job until 12/29 is irrelevant. That they failed to show up for several appointments is irrelevant. That I was left with hundreds of dollars of finish work (new tiles, drywall, and paint) to complete is irrelevant. The shower walls are sheets of thin acrylic material glued to the walls with lots of caulk on all connections and edges is irrelevant. None of that was in the contract. I have smiled at the computer generated follow up literature. One with how customer satisfaction is a top priority and one offering $500.00 if I get them another customer. Both contain the company founder’s signature on them. I wonder if he was at my house during the work whether he would discipline or terminate the people involved. The old saying “buyer beware” is true. Their product/installation costs in excess of $10,000.00. Do your research, beware, and don’t use this company!
