+ -1 moreMatt came out and spread pebble rocks from the foundation out to about a foot or more. We had agreed on this solution previously. I also needed him to insulate a copper pipe that runs from under the deck to the outside of the deck to avoid freezing in the winter. This is the location of the spigot I use to turn on the water for the outside. He turned it off for me for the winter. He also corrected a drain downspout that runs from the top of the house to the foundation. It was eroding the footings on my deck in back because it was too short. Matt ran an extension to the outside of my deck so it won't erode any longer. Here's the deal - his work is perfect - I mean those rocks look like they had been measured with a tape - the insulation was perfect; the joint was completely covered. The drain extension was perfect. Bottom line - this gentleman does perfectly beautiful work and you're lucky if he can fit you in.
Description of Work: Not sure of service date. I called Punchlist earlier in the year because I read the reviews on Angie's List. Matt came out and we reviewed that items that needed to be done. I had a problem under my deck - some critter and I don't know what type of critter it was was digging holes close to the foundation and I was very concerned about erosion and to be frank - snakes. I really didn't know what was digging the holes. Matt looked at some my inside issues also and we talked about caulking my bathtub and various other things that I wanted done. He gave me some good ideas about the door seals on the front door.

I think he offered a discount to first time customers of the total job or whatever. He was clean and professional. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.
Description of Work: The gate on our wooden fence was hanging along. I used Punchlist Plus to adjust that so that it worked properly.

Needed work done right away because of Christmas party and he came out next day. I will definitely use him again and refer him to my friends and family, he is someone you can trust in your home.
Description of Work: Hung curtain rods, changed lock on 3 doors and installed keypad lock on one door, changed out door knob hardware on three doors. Had to shave down front door because our door didn't close correctly.

+ 3 moreThe guy who comes out is a handyman and he has done a lot of things in the past for us. He will do just about anything. He is tremendous. The last job cost around $300 and I have forgotten a few things that he did around the house. Matt Mauch owns the company and he is the handyman. He is wonderful, honest and is a hard worker. He does excellent work. I can’t say anything bad about him at all. He is just great. He is knowledgeable about fixing so many things around the house. If he can’t fix them, he knows who to contact. He is honest, professional and punctual. He is very good and excellent.
Description of Work: We have been using the services of Punchlist Plus for over three and a half years now. The guy repaired some torn screens, re-caulked our shower and re-grouted a kitchen counter about two months ago. He actually put together a treadmill for us, which was nice. He also cleaned and repaired some gutter screens as much as he could.

The product I had purchased was going to cause more extensive work to be done, so Matt suggested a different model -- less expensive and he procured it for me. Then he installed this kitty door with minimal mess and time. It fit snuggly and was exactly what I had in mind. Another company had bid this simple job at many times the price. I really do not remember the exact cost of this job, but I think I'm in the ballpark. It was definitely worth the charge.

He found the leak and fixed it. He also installed a wooden screen door. He was very easy to work with.

+ -1 morei can't remember if i sent him an e-mail or called him to make contact, but whichever, he got back to me quickly. we arranged a day about two weeks in the future for him to come over (i was in no hurry and he was booked up till then). we touched base again a day or two before he was scheduled to come. he was on time, friendly, and a joy to work with.
Description of Work: matt mauch is terrific! i had a day's worth of miscellaneous repairs around the house that i either couldn't do by myself or couldn't seem to get to. of the $375, approx $335 was labor, $40 was materials (which he made a trip to buy). he was here the whole day. he was worth every penny, plus he's an all-around nice guy. -- installed grab bars several places in the house in case i fall down and can't get up without pulling on something -- repaired two dripping faucets -- located and reset two circuit-control things for outlets in the bathrooms that weren't working -- tore out and replaced rotting wood frame around garage door (he is due to come back soon to paint this, we wanted to let the treated wood dry out) -- replaced weatherstripping on garage door -- repaired loose boards in three places on fence -- fixed study light/fan so they would both work -- put up strips of wood for coathooks and installed coathooks -- rehung wire shelf that had fallen down in closet -- moved two heavy boxes of CDs from utility room to living room -- probably a couple of other things i can't remember right now

He gave me the option of having him just turn over the boards on my deck since the damage was more cosmetic than a safety issue. I chose to have them completely replaced. The workmanship was top notch and he used good quality materials. I would definitely call on Matt for any future projects that come up.

Description of Work: Matt was very responsive and took care of a list of tasks. The major thing we needed done was replacing some rotted wood on a window sash. We are very pleased with the result. Matt gaves us advice on how to prevent other windows from having similar problems. He went under the house to deal with some floor squeaks, adjusted the hinge on a cabinet door, caulked garage doors and main entry door. He used his network of contacts to advise us on the needed repairs for our kitchen faucet.

He even picked up the ceiling tiles I needed on his way to this job. I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. Because of my prior experience with him, I left him a key and a list to go through. He doesn't take payment until you are happy but I have yet to have a problem with his work quality. A double thumbs up.
Description of Work: I had a long list of "honey do's" which included replacement of ceiling tiles with water damage, repair of hinges on cabinet doors which were broken, replacement of some quarter round where there had been some water damage in my laundry room, hanging a mirror, replacement of light bulbs two stories up in a vaulted ceiling and repair/replacement of a door jam.

Description of Work: A window in a rental condo was broken and would not close or open.We thought we would have to replace the window. We called Punchlist Plus. Matt came, took the old window parts out, got the window closed and ordered new parts, which he later installed. We had two AC returns that needed to be relocated from the furnace rooms to the living rooms for easy access. Matt measured the returns, ordered new return vents, and relocated each of the returns. He also took measurements on our deck in preparation for enclosing one end of the deck at the bottom and for a possible trellis on one section of the deck.

I think his price (which included materials as well as labor) was more than reasonable. I would definitely use him again in the future and recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Matt did a number of jobs, the most essential being re-caulking near the kitchen sink. He also fixed an outside door that would not close, a toilet that was running, a towel rack that was coming out of the wall, and replaced floodlights that were very high off the ground.

+ 0 moreThey were very personable, professional, and punctual. I will definitely hire them in the future. The tiles look great. I had some leakage in the toilet and they checked the water pressure. The water pressure was high and they recommended a plumber to fix that. He was excellent as well.
