He did a great job. He worked with me to determine how extensive I wanted to go with the repairs to ensure that he matched the quality of materials with the expectations of a permanent versus temporary fix, according to my budget. It appears that he approaches a project as a problem solver and is willing to give multiple options to ensure that you know what you are getting. He is busy but was good about keeping me apprised of scheduling changes (since it was an outside job, the weather was an issue). The work was well done and I have a list growing of the next things i want him to do.

After an on site meeting to look at the tricky situation (the fence is made of very thick Cedar, even the gates), Matt returned on a later date with the parts to do the installation. All went well.

Matt is everything you want when you are looking for a handyman. He answers his phone 9 times out of 10 when you call and if not, he calls back promptly. He is professional, but still friendly and easy to talk to. He will set an appointment within a reasonable amount of time and will arrive as scheduled. Matt works quickly, but carefully. He cleans up after he is done. His prices are very fair. He is experienced and does quality work. Matt is also good at working with the problems of an old house (plaster issues, settling issues, etc). After trying various handymen and handyman services in Nashville, we will never call anyone else again now that we know Matt.

I have hired Matt to do work at our house on numerous occasions when we were getting our house ready to put on the market, and he has always done an excellent job. He is almost obsessive about details; I think he cares more than I do sometimes! He is very professional and his rates are extremely reasonable (they're actually too low), especially considering the quality of his work. He's getting harder to book because he's so in demand, but he's worth the wait!

Matt is a great guy and very professional. He reviewed the work to be done, identified the items he could address (almost everything) and he provided great suggestions that saved us money. He arrived on time and stayed until he completed all the work. He did a super job. We will use his services again in the future.

I am extremely pleased with what he did. The thing that I really liked, was that he explained everything very thoroughly. Even things that he did not fix, he gave me advice and said that he could follow up with the project or could recommend someone that could do the project.

Our work with Matt was flawless. He tackled everything we had in a thoughtful, intelligent manner. Rather than addressing the symptom, he seeks out the root cause of problems and solves them at that level--a very good approach in my opinion. Matt was fantastic! He a pleasure to work with in every way. He had us take photos/measurement of the repairs we needed and email them to him so that he could purchase supplies in advance, thus limiting the time he would have to spend away from house. Every repair was done beautifully. Matt is funny, smart and exceptionally friendly as well - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect handyman. Overall, I was very happy with how the worker said and how quickly they were and I would recommend them to others. He had good reviews on Angie's List.

We had gotten several bids on fixing a patio window and door. Everyone wanted to replace the frame, door, window, for a couple thousand dollars. Matt came in looked it over came up with a way to fix the door without removing it. It was a creative approach that saved materials, time, money and a perfectly good door. He was on time, and budget. He will be the first we ll call for any repairs.

Matt ingeniously figured out how to repair my leaky carport/porch. He created ways to fight wood rot in several of the carport posts without replacing them. I wanted to remove a shed on the garage and he showed me how it could be repaired with much less cost. With pressure treated wood he replaced several rotten pieces on several structures in the yard. I wanted more rain barrels and he rigged the gutter spouts to accommodate them. When I needed something adjusted that he had worked on, he worked it quickly into his schedule.

Matt was very prompt with all communication. He was also cost conscientious and didn't make unnecessary recommendations.

Matt was considerate of the weather, worked with me on pricing by viewing JPEG pictures in advance to make recommendations on the root cause of the problem and to make recommendations to best address my home's problems. He was considerate of my schedule, was thorough, neat and cleaned up after the job was complete. He was dedicated to the job and did not appear to be concerned that he might be working past "normal stopping" time. I was impressed with the fact that he arrived on time, worked a complete day and was prepared to begin working when he arrived. His work was slightly under his initial estimate, and best of all he indicated his work is guaranteed should a problem recur.

Matt promptly returned my first phone call and came to give an estimate within days. He started the work when he said he would start it and finished it on time as well. Matt is extremely creative and found "out of the box" ways to fix lattice work that was unattractively constructed, making it look like a design feature instead of an afterthought. He was great to work with!

Matt is AWESOME. He is personable, very helpful, professional, clean and great all around. He had to figure out a few of the projects I had for him, since they were not straightforward and I am no help, and he not only made the repair or replacement, he improved upon what had been existing. This was the first time I met him but I feel that he is completely trustworthy. He offers tips on other projects and is willing to explain things. He even helped me understand a situation I had with some rented property! He works methodically, very focused and also quite cooperative with any other beings in the house and their needs and movements. He's the kind of person you want to have in your home.

We were new to area so used Angie's List to find several contractors. Matt of Punch List Plus was at the house many times following up. He clearly has an interest in doing and helping. Excellent service and responsiveness.

Matt was very courteous in returning my phone inquiry with excelling speed. He showed up on time with a wonderful disposition and an amazing quality of importance of excellence regarding the design factor of the stairwell rail. He spent quite a bit of time and thought in designing it so that it would be both eye appealing and function with the highest safety aspect that could be attained. (This was installed in a former garage that had been turned into a den and had some pretty steep steps going down.) He took great care in modeling the anchors and redoing the door molding to look absolutely perfect! His attention to detail is amazing and he is very fussy to get things perfect. He treats your home with the most respect that I have ever seen any hired hand possess, cleaning up meticulously is also one of his strong suits.
