+ -1 morePhil is one of the few in the area that can do effective spa repair. I can't say enough good about him. After several attempts with other companies, Phil knocked it out without excuses or delay. I would definitely hire him again.

+ -1 morePhil was easy to get in touch with, replied quickly to messages, honest, knowledgable and very efficient.
Description of Work: Hot tub had been sitting for two years, and was not working. I was expecting the worst. Phil looked at everything and showed me where the motor shaft had rusted and repaired it and replaced a small cracked plastic. He also showed me signs to watch for in the future to catch the problem early, which I appreciated.

+ -1 moreI had to find anyone I could to do it and once we figured out how to get into the space under the tub, then he came out pretty promptly and dealt with it in a very efficient manner.
Description of Work: He repaired the spa, there was a seal that needed to be replaced and he went under there and did it.

+ -1 morePhil was very accommodating in working around my tricky schedule, very professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond the call not only to help me with the service required to bring an older hot tub back to life, but was also great in educating me regarding maintenance and upkeep tips and tricks. After calling a couple of other companies who seemed to be inconvenienced just at the idea of having to schedule a service call, Phil was a refreshingly easy to work with. His fee was affordable too. And since the primary service call, I have had several questions, and he has been very nice about returning my calls and answering all of my questions.

+ -1 moreThe PT TCB Spa/Hot Tub Service worker came on time and did his job. He look at the pump and explained what needed to be done. He works on it and at last the pump works. He did a good job. Service price is very reasonable.
Description of Work: The pump on the spa are not working so we asked an expert to do this i.e. PT TCB Spa/Hot Tub and they assigned one of their worker to come over and do the job. He fixed the pump on the spa.

+ -1 moreThey were terrific. They saved me a bunch of money and replaced a fuse instead of the motor. He could have taken advantage of me. Phil is as honest as the day is long, he stays on task until it is done, and he never over charges. It is still working.

+ -1 morePhil responded with promptness in his initial return email as well as coming out to give an estimate on repairs for the hot tub. The repair was going to be very expensive due to the part needed, so we opted out of the repair. He still gave us alternatives, which were still pricey strictly due to the age of the tub. He was honest and thorough. I would use him again if ever the need. He was professional, prompt and courteous. I believe he was fairly priced, it's just that our repairs were extensive and beyond what was reasonably financially savvy for us at this time. He even offered ideas on how to remove and get rid of the tub.

Description of Work: PT TCB Stands for Phil Thielke Takes Care Of Business but we call him 'Hot Tub Phil' His Slogan Is "I'll Keep you In Hot Water" and I believe it. After 3 months and 3 invoices and a Hot Tub with the same recurring problem I finally reached out to 2 different Hot Tub Companies and they both recommended Phil Thielke for 'someone with hot tub electrical problems.' Which was by the then pretty plain to be an electrical problem. Water And Electricity Do Not Mix. And after losing my trust 3 invoices in a row, I was very cautious with a new serviceman. And so was he. On his first visit I 'Tipped Him' and said "If it doesn't work in the morning, will you come back out and try again." And he said 'Yes Sir.' Which I appreciated. So he did come back and got it going once more, but then it failed once more. I called, he answered, and we both agreed on a price to try a new GFIC switch at the breaker. Apparently, hot tub electrical problems require some tracing. Phil was up to the task and was patient. So when I got home and found that I didn't have a new GFIC on my circuit board, I jumped to conclusions and called Phil and asked, 'Where's my new GFIC?' and he said 'Have you checked your hot tub.' No.' So I walked to it and it was sitting at a perfect 100 degrees, punched the buttons, all the jets started running, and the temperature started rising. I said, 'It's working now, what did you do?' And he explained how he solved the problem, not that I could understand the intricacies, but I certainly appreciated the effort to educate me. He is fair and square in business and I would recommend him to anyone for his tenacity in solving a difficult problem. Bottom Line, Phil Thielke is the Elvis of Hot Tubs thus the PT TCB.
