We do provide cost effective solutions and provide extremely fair pricing that can add much value to your home. Nashville Home Energy is not a low cost/low bid installer, however. Description of Work: Energy evaluation was from my perspective a waste of money. They will apply the $100 for evaluation toward any work I may have done. But, the price quoted for their work was extremely high.

Hello [member name removed], I am sorry you felt the inspection was a waste of money. I do feel the need to respond to what I feel is an unfair review. In regards to pricing, this work is challenging. We are working in confined spaces such as attics and often times in hot, humid conditions. In order for me to provide a good customer service and install top notch quality work, I have to pay employees a fair wage. This is in addition to all of the overhead a small business must burden. I could employ cheaper employees and potentially not care too much about the quality and get price points lower, but this is not the type of work I care to do. There are insulation companies out there that will perform this work at lower price points. Also, because of the report you now have, you can simply have other companies bid the specifications listed within. This does provide an immense value. Finally, while at your house I spent much time reviewing how you might be able to install the work yourself and provided detailed explanation as how to do it. Again, this provides great value for the price you paid. If you were to request bids from other companies for a diagnostic based energy audit, you should expect to pay $300 or more. [Member name removed], I hate that you are unhappy with the value, but it is my opinion you received an incredible value for the services performed. Description of Work: Provided inspection of home, recommendations on work that would provide the most benefit, and performed insulation of open cell spray foam in garage. Answered all my questions on-site and through e-mail. They even made an additional trip on-site to help answer my questions. Both Jeff and Mto I could tell are very knowledgeable and care about the work they perform. | |Both days the installation was performed they showed up on time ready to work. All their workers were professional and performed the job as indicated. They had to move items from the garage and then put them back after the job. I expected and even told them they could pile everything on one side of the garage. They went above and beyond actually arranging the items so they were not in the way. I am already planning to use them for additional insulation work.
