That turned out very satisfactorily. They were great! One plumber came out and he replaced a sprayer head to my kitchen sink. He also tightened a faucet in an upstairs bathroom. I wished Angie’s List would let me give him an A+.

Compared to the price quoted by other providers, the amount of service we got with this Angie's list coupon was outstanding. We were selling our condo and the buyers wanted the unit inspected and serviced. I provided them a list of all that was done and they were satisfied. They did not find anything wrong with our unit and did not try to sell us on anything. Just straight forward service. Prompt and great price.

Brian was the service pro that cleaned our unit. He was very nice and professional. Arived on time and did an excellent job. He even helped me out with a drainage issue with our unit.

The gentleman who came was very professional and did everything just the way I wanted it done. When I asked him about my commode not working correctly, he said he could fix that also and told me how much that would cost. He repaired it and it is working fine. The cost was reasonable and the service very good.

They did a good job and I was quite satisfied.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a discounted service call fee + 1 hour of labor. I then called to schedule the service. The operators were very helpful and we were able to work with my work schedule and set up an appointment. On the day of the service (my appointment was late in the day) the technician was running a little late so he called to let me know and find out if we needed to reschedule or if I was able to wait. In the end he was only about 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment time, so I did not have a problem with that at all. When the technician arrived he introduced himself, met my puppy and got right to work. He evaluated the outside faucet, fiddled a bit, was able to get it to shut off, and explained my options and what each would cost. I opted to have the fixture replaced. I had purchased a coupon from Angie's list that covered the appointment fee + 1 hour of labor. He got straight to work and was done faster than I thought he could be. He showed me and explained what he had done and told me I needed to let the mortar dry overnight (my house is brick) before I used the new faucet. He immediately asked what else I needed him to look at, gathered some tools and got straight to work. Come to find out, my garbage disposal was not dead, as I feared, but just needed to be unclogged and reset. He explained what he did and told me what I could do to help it work better in the future. In the end, the visit cost me the price of the coupon + $60 for all of the parts of the new outdoor faucet. All in all it was a very positive experience and I would definitely call them back in the future.

He didn't seem to know what to do. It was supposed to be written on his orders. I feel as though I did not receive $59 worth of service.

All communication and scheduling with MJ Frick Company was excellent. We had friends coming for dinner and the company did accommodate our preference of having the plumber arrive and complete repairs before our guests arrived. This review is regarding plumbing service only. We purchased the Big Deal for $59 for a plumbing service call and one hour of service, which sounded great as we had three minor issues. When the initial plumber arrived, on time, he first asked if we wanted to purchase a service plan. This was before we had a chance to gauge the quality of his work or his professionalism and it made my husband uncomfortable that he had to say "no" before any work was done. Upon first inspection of leaky toilet #1, the plumber immediately told my husband that the tank would need to be replaced. My husband, obviously not a plumber, but also not a complete idiot, asked the plumber to show him where the crack in the tank was. The plumber then told him that replacing a bolt might be enough. He replaced the bolt and some tank innards that took about 30-40 mins and told us the parts were $40. The plumber then fixed the leaky faucet, which took only a minute and no parts. In retrospect, we should have asked him to tell us when our hour of "included" service was finished and how much he would charge for anything after that, but we didn't ask. I suppose we erroneously assumed that any additional time spent would be prorated. The plumber made several long trips back out to his vehicle that took up some time, but it was a very hot day and we do have 20 steps from our front door to the street where he was parked. We then showed him the "wobbly" toilet and he was nice enough to check with us first to make certain that if he re-sealed the toilet, that we would be okay without using it until the next day. He quickly re-sealed that toilet and tightened the bolts. Needless to say, we were shocked when our bill was $110 (on top of the $59 that covered the service call and an hour of service). He said we had gone into the second hour, so charged us for another hour of service plus the parts for the first toilet repair. We were disappointed and felt that the Big Deal hadn't gained us any discount at all, but glad to have repairs finished before entertaining. BUT, the next time someone used the leaky toilet, water dripped all over the bathroom floor and it had to be cleaned while entertaining and the dish to catch the leak replaced. So, our guests had to use the leaky bathroom since the other toilet on the main level couldn't be used until the next day because of the new seal. After our friends left that night my husband called the company (and even though it was late, they did have an answering service and emergency calls available if needed). The company representatives contacted us quickly the next day and scheduled a different plumber to come at the earliest time that was convenient for us. We ourselves had requested a "different plumber" since we didn't have any confidence in the original plumber and were afraid he would say he now had to replace the tank and had tried to tell us that originally. This second plumber showed up promptly, was very professional, never mentioned tank replacement, but did replace all three bolts and the rubber seal from the tank to the bowl. He explained that even though it might look like the water is dripping from a particular bolt, that it's difficult to tell where the leak is actually occurring. He was here less than 30 minutes total and to the company's credit, there was no charge at all for the service call, parts or labor. Thankfully, there has been no leak since! In conclusion, our dealings with MJ Frick Company and the second plumber were all outstanding. Perhaps the first plumber wasn't representative of the company, but we cannot recommend their plumbing services based on our experience. The company did make certain that everything was taken care of and that we weren't charged additional fees and we feel they are a reputable company.

Showed up on time and completed the job in 1 hour, with satisfactory results. I didn't give a higher rating because I didn't get an itemized parts list (the serviceman apparently was having trouble with his mobile billing system), and afterwards I noticed that the vacuum break had been replaced and I had probably been charged for the new one - the parts was half the bill, and these things cost at least $25. The old one was only a year or two old, nothing wrong with it.

We made an appointment for someone to service our a/c. They were supposed to be there between 11-1. At 1:15 I called the office to see what was going on. I was told the tech was stuck at another appointment and it would be at least another hour before he could get here but no guarantees. Needless to say we cancelled the appointment.

Marian arrived at the time specified, asked questions and used a "laser" system to measure my house to ensure the appropriate size system was quote in the estimate, in addition she answered all my questions. Mariam was very professional and personable. I received the quote via e-mail as promised (their company policy is to run the information from questions and measurements through a computer program to ensure the appropriate unit is quoted). The quote fell within the guidelines I set and was appropriate for the equipment specified. Marian answered questions in follow-up emails. As is my practice, I received several quotes. While the quote from MJ Frick Co was comparable, I chose a HVAC provider from my little town. I try to support local business when possible.

Upon arrival, the technician was courteous, friendly, professional and ready to work. His work was thorough and complete. The service also corrected the 3 deficiencies the home inspector had previously identified in the condo I was selling. He not only met, but exceeded my expectations.

The service rep was professional and thorough. However, one of our units began making a loud noise immediately after hge left and the next night it quit working. My husband was able to fix the problems- there was a bunch of gunk in the part that pumps out the condensation. I called the next day to discuss it with the company and was very unsatisfied with their response. I asked for the money back for one of the services and for an explanation. At first they said "this was just a special deal for Angie's LIst and did not include an complete service" That was NOT what I understood the deal to be. No one has called me back on this. I am very disappointed. I was hoping to begin a relationship with this company and use them for our annual cleaning; I had even talked to the rep about them doing some plumbing work as well. I am very disappointed and will not do business again with this company.

They scheduled quickly, showed up on time, cleaned and checked out the AC, and was done quickly.

Kirk did an excellent job. He inspected our unit and gave us detailed report. He was on-time and very professional. He even brought booties for his shoes. We highly recommend Kirk with MJ Frick.

They said they didn't service my area.

My air went out right before I was to go on vacation. The compressor was on, but no air was coming out of the vents. I called three different companies, and MJ Fricke were the only ones able to come out the same day. I called on a Friday morning, and they gave me a 2-hour window to come out for that same afternoon. I had to work and asked if they could call when they were 30 minutes away. Kirk did just that, and I was able to meet him at my home in Goodlettsville. My unit is 12 years old, so I thought for sure I would need a new one; but he found that it was simply the heat sequencer needing to be replaced. He didn't have the part for it, so I couldn't get it fixed before my vacation. So he kindly fixed it so that I could turn the air conditioner on and off from the breaker box. It was around $70 for the service call and then $135 for the sequencer. They called me a few days later to set up a repair time - I was unable to be there for the repair, so they agreed to take payment over the phone, and Kirk came out again. I'd forgotten to switch the inside thermostat to the right setting, but he was able to make the air come on anyway - I felt bad that I'd made his job a little harder, but he was extremely polite and professional. I will definitely call them when I need a new unit.

I called in the morning and was told that they would have someone out to my place by around 3pm. Around 3:15 the technician arrived at the same time their office called me to inform me he was on his way. Shane was very thorough while diagnosing my A/C system. Without overloading me with a lot of technical information, he simply explained that there was a short in my thermostat and went about installing a replacement unit for me to use until he could return with the correct one. All of the work was done efficiently and without undue expense. I would use this vendor again without reserve.

David was professional and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and honest. That's a great combination. Very satisfied with the experience and would highly recommend.

I was having some zoning cooling issues and have been for a couple of years. Between Angie's List & a good friends recommendation, I called MJ Frick yesterday. After almost 8 years of bi-yearly seasonal service on my HVAC units by Lee, Greenway, & Hiller.... MJ Frick is the FIRST company to let me know that I have TWO units (not 1) on the INSIDE of my house to go along with the 2 a/c units outside. You know, the ones where you need to change the filter.... I have one in my attic that hasn't been touched (and the filter hadn't been changed) since I moved here. I had never been asked by any of those other companies about having two units before. Kirk was the technician and he was prompt, polite, detailed, & took time to explain what and why he was doing what he was doing. He didn't try to upsell me anything while he was here either. I was so happy with the service that I called their office and signed up for their Maintenance Club for both my HVAC and Plumbing.

The service was great. I had just bought a new house and the A/C unit is 12 yrs old. The technician was very helpful and helped explain the system and what we could do to keep it working for another 5 yrs.

It was alright. He went through my system and said that it's kind of old and that I needed to replace it. There wasn't much that he could do, that's what he said. He did give a report as to what's wrong with the unit. Pretty much throughout the winter, we used a space heater since I cannot use my heater. My husband was there at the house because I was working, he came during my working hour. My husband was neutral on that. He said it was okay. My husband said that they were not there for long. It's a lot of money for nothing. I did not get a call from the company that said, "Hey, we went over there. This is what it is. Heat exchanger is like this. If you were to change it, it's going to cost you this much. If you buy a new unit, it's going to be this much." I would appreciate that. For now, I just get a little receipt as to what the technician did and then did not get the follow-up from the company. In a way, it's a loss for them. I mean, I could be a potential new customer who would have bought a new heating unit from them. As a business, I think follow-up is important. I think they were pretty much on time.

It was good. I was happy with it. They seemed thorough and the service technician seemed knowledgeable. He also had good customer service skills.
