McIntyre Painting

The good: responsive for bid request. Came out & viewed job as promised, gave quick & detailed estimate on job. Friendly & courteous . The bad: finished job badly done. Switch covers painted over instead of removed before painting, walls badly (not?) prepped so children's scribbles on walls clearly visible thru new paint, grey wall paint splattered on white trim & door frames, dings & gashes in walls not filled/sanded smooth, baseboards not caulked before painting & painting not clean. I had to bring in a different paint crew to fix all the issues. Jesse had all kinds of excuses for why his work was the way it was, but in the end, regardless of the issues, Hs excuses can't justify the very poorly done job.

He did a nice job on the painting. Had to sand my daughters room first. The walls were very rough. He also painted her door and the molding around her door. The rooms he painted look so much better now. His price seemed in the middle, but his reviews on Thumbtack were great so we decided to use him. Would use him again. It's not always about finding the cheapest person to do work.
