He knew what he was doing. One person came to install washing machine. It took about an hour or less. They did a good job. I had just moved and the garage was full of stuff. I had to pull my car out before they could get the machine in the house. They had to move the dryer out because the room is so small.

I have to say I am very nervous about hiring contractors vetted by someone else. They did a great job though. Very happy

This was a miserable experience with Lowes. We purchased a five foot wide, custom order french door in early November. The door required 4 week lead time but arrived at the store on 11/19/13 well ahead of the 11/28 due date. Missing, however was the sill pan. Although Lowes said they contacted their supplier immediately, they were unable to get me the sill pan until 12/5/13. This pushed my installation window with my contractor way out. When I was finally able to get the door, I discovered they had ordered the wrong inswing although I had gone in many times to tell them exactly the way I wanted it to work. The person at the desk did not know what she was doing and ordered the wrong door to swing in. She also showed me how the mechanism would work to open the french door that was not the inswing door by showing me a door in the store. The door she showed me could be easily opened at the knob by my 91 year old mother in law so she could safely exit the house if needed but the door that arrived was completely different and she was unable to open both doors safely by herself since she is on a walker and unable to unlatch the door on the top and bottom. I complained to management and told them they needed to train staff and offered to talk to the manager about how unhappy I was with the service. I never heard from the store manager. By the time all of this went down, I decided to go with what I had rather than delay the project any longer. I will not go back to Lowes for doors or windows for any projects I need to do in the future.

Sales guy was helpful and I knew mostly what I wanted and he helped me use my coupons in the best way. Delivery team reminded me and truck was prompt and alerted me as to drop off. I even had them come back out to level it. One of the sales folks at my 2nd visit was less happy but eventually scheduled the guys to come back out. They don't like to call it and quot;set upand quot;, it's a and quot;deliveryand quot; for manufacturer warranty purposes, but they did it and the guys that came (2x) were capable and friendly and leveled my washer. Lowes will make sure you're happy in the first 30 days, that was still in my window.

My husband made sure to stay in the house all day on Tuesday but they never came or called. When we called they told us they had a 48 hour window even though we were told differently. We got our deposit back and decided to go with someone else. We have had problems with Lowes in the past. We used them to install laminate flooring in 2009. The contractor they sent to put in flooring was wonderful but Lowes didn't deliver the materials on time and there was confusion as to what day he was supposed to be there. Lowes did give us a discount for the inconvenience, but it does cause a problem for us because we have to drive from Lexington to Nashville every time we need to do work to our condo. We tried to use them again in the fall of 2010 to replace two bathroom vanities. They sent a contractor to measure and then a Lowes employee told us they had the products we needed in stock. We scheduled an appointment and drove to Nashville. The employee that we originally talked to wasn't there and we had to wait an hour for someone else to get back from lunch. We were then told the products were not available and would need to be custom ordered. We decided not to go forward with the project at that time because we were only there for a limited amount of time. We've given them so many chances because the Lowes in Lexington is so wonderful but we won't be using Lowes in Nashville anymore.

We looked at carpet at Lowe's several times, did research on the Internet, and talked about carpet with sales persons from other companies. Dan Moseley at Lowe's was ABSOLUTELY the most helpful person to us. He had a wealth of knowledge about carpet fibers and prices. He helped us purchase beautiful, high quality carpet for less than any other estimates. Our order came in quickly - in less than a week. The installation crew did a fine job. They worked diligently and cleaned up meticulously. They were an hour later than I was told they would arrive and they didn't call. I will definitely use Lowe's and Dan Moseley the next time I purchase carpet.

Lowes did a great job. The only thing I had a problem with was that they put the garage door opener to high for me to reach it. I am short and they wouldn't put it any lower for me. Otherwise, They did a good job.

Lowes was horrible! They started off on the wrong foot. First, they didn't have anything in stock. Next, they ordered the wrong material. Finally, the delivery was not correct. The only pleasant thing that came out of this experience was that they refunded some of my money.
