I used them once a few years ago and had a great experience and recommended them to anyone who asked. When this project came up I called them and the owner hung up on me mid-sentence. I followed up with an email and got a brief explanation about adding a new phone but no further contact about my request to set up an estimate. Must be nice to be busy enough to treat customers like that.

Well done, prompt, and very informative with the process and the day-to-day status report. The price for the work was fair and I will certainly call on Kerr to do more work as I continue to have my home built.

We purchased a new range and have an older home built in 1955, so the wiring needed updating to accomodate the new 4-prong plug that is standard now on all the new ranges. Kerr Electric was recommended to us by our neighbor, so we gave them a call on the Monday before Thanksgiving and requested that they come out to give us an estimate on the cost of rewiring for the new 4-prong plug and installing a new receptacle. We had to have the receptacle moved due to accomodate the cut-out opening in the rear of the new range. Junior Kerr answered the phone immediately and we told him we were having a new range delivered on the Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday. He agreed to come out to do the estimate within about 45 minutes of our call. He showed up right on time and was very pleasant and professional. He gave us the estimated cost for the rewiring and told us that even though they were extremely busy right before the holiday, they could complete the job for us on Wednesday morning. We really appreciated the fact that they were able to work us into their schedule, because we had some time constraints due to the delivery of the stove. Two of Junior's Electricians came out on Wednesday morning. They showed up on time and were pleasant and very knowledgeable. New electrical wiring was run from the circuit breaker box in the garage, through the attic, and down through the wall into the kitchen. The workers installed a beautiful new receptacle and recessed it into the wall behind the stove, using the specs on the stove as a guideline. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves before they left our home. Junior and his crew were very personable and have many years of experience, which definitely shows in the quality of their work. We would highly recommend them if you need any electicial work done on your home. We intend to use them in the future for any wiring upgrades, including a new electical panel that we may want to have installed in the near future. All in all, our experience with Kerr Electric was wonderful.

I contacted Junior at Kerr Electric to help us restore power to a house made unihabitable by some really bad tenants. Due to the theft of power by the tenants, NES had cut the power line and would not restore it until the house was in sync with codes. Junior was very easy to work with and helped us get the power back on at the lowest cost possible and as quickly as possible. He did very good work raising the power line over the gutter and installing a new electrical box, replacing the old glass fuse box. He also assisted us in dealing with NES and the codes inspection and gave us some excellent advise on future work that might need to be done.

The gentleman that came arrived promptly and was very courteous. He explained to me what the problem was and how to prevent it from occurring in the future.

Had strange smell coming from breaker box. Determined the smell increased whenever the hot water heater was used. I called Kerr one morning at 7am and they were able to come out by 8:30am. Inspected the breaker box, replaced the breaker, told me to call if I had anymore problems and said the bill would be in the mail. Easy, courteous and most importantly fast.

I thought the man they sent out was very pleasant. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. He did a good job. We had actually had him out doing some work for us in the past as well. I think the price was around $250 which I thought was good.

Kerr Electric is very professional. I've used him before, and he does great work. He is always on time, too. I don't have to worry about any safety hazards when I have Kerr Electric working in my home.
