+ -1 moreI reached out to Kevin via phone and scheduled an appointment for him to drop by to give me a bid on my lawn work. Kevin didn't show, so I called to follow up. He stated he had forgotten. No big deal, I get it. So he dropped by later that day (Tuesday, 4/13) to look at the lawn. He seemed like a nice guy. He gave me a bid for my lawn and agreed to email me a written estimate and stated that he couldn't start until Monday, April 19, 2021. I agreed. After we met I sent him an email to recap but didn't hear anything from him. So I texted a couple days later, still no response. So I called and he stated he didn't receive my email, but he did get my text with my email address. He stated he would email an estimate. I asked if we were still scheduled for a Monday, April 19 cut. He confirmed that we were. From this point, I didn't hear from Kevin again. So on Monday morning, April 19 (the day he had promised twice to cut my grass) I texted again to see what time he was coming. I got no response from Kevin. So I called. I got him and he stated he hadn't received any texts from me and that he couldn't cut my grass because he lived 25 miles away and would have to go pick up a riding more, which would be too expensive. Bottom line, Kevin DID NOT return a single phone call, text or email. I can't speak to the quality of his work, but if you're looking for someone who will communicate and follow through, I'd strongly encourage you find someone other than KC Landscaping. A very disappointed, almost great customer.
