This is the second time I've contracted Jon Robbin, and I hope to hire him again. He does excellent work and has an eye for quality. He clearly takes personal pride in his work and stands by it. Consequently, he uses good parts that he can stand by. He is also very respectful of the patron's house. For example, he brought a change of clothes so that, after replacing the pressure regulator, he wouldn't track material from the crawl space into my kitchen when replacing the disposal. I definitely appreciated that. When replacing the disposal, he was mindful to have something protecting my hardwood floor whenever he needed to set down heavy metal objects like the disposal or large wrenches. I also appreciated that he didn't mind me watching over his shoulder while he worked on the garbage disposal. Jon's able to explain what he's doing while working so I get to learn as he's going. With Jon Robbin, I feel like I get great service and, when I'm up for it, great instruction.

Great experience. Jon showed me several things I can do under the "self maintenance" category. Hopefully we won't need him for a while; but next time we have a leak or any type of plumbing problem, he'll be the first we'll call.

I called Jon, wanting to get my plumbing hooked up right before we went out of town. He came over early and got it done quicker than he even thought. He was very informative, and did a great job.

Jon is a do-it-yourselfer's dream plumber and consultant. He is extremely thorough, professional and patiently teaches and offers advice. He's also the most organized and meticulous plumber (or contractor of any sort) who I've encountered. After watching him work and listening to his explanations/suggestions I have complete confidence in his expertise. I expect to have him come back through the next two phases (rough-in and finish) of this remodel. I also plan to call on him for any other plumbing I might need.

I called Jon on a Sunday and left him a message about my concerns. He called me back promptly and we set up a time for him to come address the issue. He addressed the issues in a little over an hour, including time spent inspecting most of the fixtures in my home. He also suggested replacing a rickety handle on my toilet which might be driving up my water bill and replaced that as well. He provides an outstanding value for money, shows up when he says he is going to, and is conscientious and hard working.

Jon was great. He was courteous and helpful. He immediately put me at ease and was very honest with me about what needed to be fixed right away and what didn't. That was wonderful because I just bought an older home and there are always things that will need repair. He did the work quickly and he did it well. He was also much more affordable. Another company wanted to charge me $200 just to run a test on all my pipes - before they would repair the leak! I can't say enough - he did a great job. I encourage others to use his services - I know I will.

Jon Robbin was able to diagnose the problem with my three running toilets and give me an estimate over the phone. He called before leaving so I had a good sense of when he would arrive. He confirmed what was wrong with the toilets, had brought the parts he needed, and fixed the toilets well. Three things I really liked about Jon's service were: 1) He didn't give a hard sell on a bunch of stuff I didn't need. 2) He did a good job. 3) He has the spirit of a teacher. If you're at all handy and like learning from the professionals you hire, Jon is great contractor for you. He definitely enjoys teaching as he works.

Overall, my experience with Jon went very well. If I ever need a plumber, he'll be the one I call first.

I have a tenant who rents a room in the upstairs of my home. Her bath faucet was leaking. In the past when I have called contractors to fix plumbing issues (for instance, a leaking toilet) the cost is routinely $150-$200. I decided to give Jon a call as it looked like he offered relatively competitive rates. He was able to address the issue the same day. Communication was great and he was precisely on time. He gave me a detailed situation assessment and was frank that he wasn't sure that he would be able to fix the issue as the bath plumbing was totally corroded. Fortunately, he was able to fix the issue - the leak is gone!
