What a great resource and customer service goes beyond any expectation.

In order to replace the leaky faucet, he had to cap off an old pipe; relocate some cable wires that originally were running through the same opening as the faucet (this is a very old house). He also noticed that the water meter was running very fast and suspected a problem somewhere in the system. He did a complete and detailed investigation of the issues and fixed them all. I am very please with the results and his work and would use him again.

Jon was on time and very professional. He described what he was going to do and at each step in the process. He admitted when he wasn't sure what caused the problem, but proceeded methodically to find it and fix it. He was fair in his pricing, especially with his travel time.

Jon is very conscientious. He took his shoes on and off three times to avoid getting dirt on my carpet. Also, he came back to tighten things up after a small leak for no charge. We plan to have him back to fix our leaky showers as soon as he finds the parts.

As other reviews have indicated, Jon is very professional and meticulous. Our faucet a German make and not as intuitive to repair as I knew from prior experience. In the end, I was glad I hired Jon to make this repair as it proved to be not as straight forward as I believed. No problems (leaks) since repaired 3+ months ago. Will definitely keep Jon on my preferred list for future plumbing repairs .

Jon called when he was on his way to my house. He was on time and immediately started his work. The hallway bathroom toilet needed new "insides" installed. Jon had that done in very little time. The master bathroom toilet was a different story! He was very through about some of possible scenarios of what might be wrong. Realizing he needed to remove the tank and then the bowl, Jon was very careful about any water spills and kept cleaning up as he went along. When he realized that a piece of the flange was broken off, he needed to figure out the best possible way to fix this difficult repair. Jon then decided he needed to go under the house into the crawl space to check out the pipes and the flooring. While he was down there, he discovered 2 small leaks that he assured me were easy repairs and they were not an emergency. Jon was like a "CSI pluming agent!" He had to figure out how to get a new flange to attach through the tile into the wood flooring underneath. The whole time, Jon was explaining everything. With his plan of action, he masterfully fixed the broken flange, added a new one, drilled new holes for the bolts to attach the toilet, reset the toilet in place, replaced the supply line, reattached the tank with new hardware, shimmed the toilet so it was rock solid on the floor and filled the tank with water. Well, there was another curve to this repair. The tank had a hairline crack so it started to seep out slowly. Jon drained the tank, removed it again and took some silicon caulking and filled in the hairline crack. He reinstalled the tank and filled it with water. He told me that this would hold for awhile until I could purchase a new toilet. Since the repair, there has just been a little dampness in the area but no water dripping. Jon told me that he would be happy to install my new toilet for no charge! He told me that this was one of the hardest repairs he's had to figure out due to the fact he couldn't access the toilet from the crawl space but only from inside the bathroom itself. Jon is a master at his craft, polite, punctual and explained everything that was going on! I appreciate his kind of work and service. I will certainly call him for future work!

John Robbing is fantastic and I will absolutely use his services again. He is professional, clean, and courteous. I hired John to take out a broken garbage disposal and install a new one I had purchased from Amazon. John knew what he was doing, was careful, and tested his work at the end. We did hit a snag in that the disposal I bought had a power cord and it would have been easier to have one that required being hardwired as my former one had been, however John recommended an electrician and spoke to him on behalf. Now I have the electrician coming on Friday. In the meantime, the new garbage disposal is installed, no leaks, and I can use it with an extension cord until the electrician comes to install a plug under my sink. Again, John is fantastic and I will 100% use his services again and recommend them to others. One side note is that he does not do early morning appointments. However, that was not an issue for me.

Jon arrived on time and was a true professional. He unclogged our drain and replaced/repaired our hose bib. He also inspected our existing cast iron pipes to see if they needed to be replaced. We only have 2 or 3 drain pipes that are cast iron - the rest of our lines have been replaced. He said they were okay and really did not need to replace them. We will definitely use Jon again for our future plumbing needs!!!

One word to describe Jon Robbins....Awesome!!! He had a cancellation and was able to provide me same day service. Today was the first time that I have used his services. I am very pleased with Jon's work and he is now my plumber of choice.

Ours is an old house and presented a couple of problems because of the rather ancient original plumbing. Mr. Robbin was thoroughly professional and since he publishes his hourly rate on Angie's list, I knew what I might expect in advance of the work. I would definitely use him again. I was surprised when he didn't charge me for what he called 'his learning curve" as he studied the manual for installing the cartridges, which is a rather tricky proposition.

jon arrived right on time and quickly found out what the problem with the toilet was. he explained in detail what he did to fix it and what problems may arise in the future if we keep this "vintage" toilet. he was courteous, quick and efficient. it's important to add that he spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with my husband prior to his visit, trouble-shooting the problem but did not charge for his time. great guy, great service. we'll use him again.

One time I had John come to fix my shower. There was not enough water coming out. He did a simple test with how much water was going into a bucket from one shower to another. He told me what to do to get ready for him to come on-site. Another time he adjusted the water level in the toilet. Another time he check on an issue the HOA brought up.

I contacted Jon a couple of weeks ago, and set up an appt for when i would be back in town. Even 2 weeks out, he remembered the appt, and called me the day before to arrange a time. Then as promised, called the day of when he was a half hour away. He analyzed the situation, and worked efficiently and got the job done in a timely manner.

Work was excellent especially on our older plumbing (installed in the 1950's). Saved money by repairing parts rather than replacing. Cost was reasonable.

He was very quick to return my call. He set up an appointment in the same week. I had several things to be done, but he quickly realized I had not ordered all of the required parts to finish all of the job. He finished everything he could on the first call and told me exactly how to order the missing parts to save me some money. When the new parts came in a week later, he set another appointment and came back and finished. We feel very lucky to have found such an honest and capable plumber.

He responded quickly and did not overpromise, but he definitely overdelivered. Great job.

He is a one man operation. Sometimes he uses a helper but mainly he works by himself. He is very intelligent and articulate. He was easy to work with. He comes out and gives an estimate for free. If it's a small job, he will do it right then. If it is something bigger he will make an appointment and will show up when he says he will show up. He is a pleasure to do business with. He has a good personality and knows his plumbing. He goes about his business and gets it done. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I would definitely use him again.

It was a positive experience. He did what he said he would do. When he felt that he wasn't able to fix something, he said he wouldn't charge for the visit.

When I called Jon Robbins, he immediately looked into his schedule to find a time to come to my house. He rearranged some things in his own schedule to fit mine. He came within a couple of days of my call and tried very diligently the first day to find the necessary part free of charge. He made several calls to the manufacturer to get this done. He ended up having to buy the part anyways. He came to the house and found that the problem was simply that a piece should have been removed from the original part for it to work properly had not been removed. He fixed the original part and did not use or charge me for the part he purchased. I was charged only for labor and it was much cheaper than what other companies had told me it would be. He did arrive when he said he would and even called when he was 20 minutes away. He was in and out without taking any extra time and did the job very well.

He is a miracle worker- and very nice! How wonderful it is to find a person who is so professional, responsible, and a good person! Thank you Angie's List! Thank you Mr. Robbin!

Jon was very friendly and stuck to getting the job done. He called after a couple of days to ask if the sink was no longer leaking and how the shower and drain were.

John was an absolute pleasure to work with - he truly is the epitome of why I remain on Angie's List, in that I have found a plumber I can absolutely rely on. He was extremely knowledgeable, fast with his work, very responsive and accessible over the phone, and even called me the next day to make sure everything was in working order and that I had experienced no problems. I will be calling him immediately the next time I need a plumber, and I will be recommending him to all of my friends.
