The technician sprayed outside and inside. However, they could not solve the mice problem in the house and chickmocks on the lawn. I would think about switching company after one-year contact. I should be aware of the other reviewers' opinions before I signed the contract.

It's been several months ago but it was fine and adequate. They came and did what I asked them to do.

Arrived on time, did the service and checked that we were happy. We had to have a followup visit because of some ants being more persistent than others. Technician arrived the second time on time performed the service very professionally and again checked to make sure everything was okay. We have had no further issues with insects inside since.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was very happy with everything they did. I would absolutely recommend them.

I was called in to work so my teenagers had to work with Todd and he was great - came did his job, called me as needed to discuss services. I was very happy with service.

The experience was great and the technician who came out did a great job. He got here on time and was reasonable. I have not decided whether I am going to do it periodically, probably twice a year. They were recommending every other month but I am only going to do it twice a year. They were here promptly, the person was nice and they did a good job. They introduced themselves to me and were very pleasant.

The technician showed up on time and introduced himself. He provided his full name and license #. He then explained carefully what he would be doing and why. He got right to work and was he was done he went over everything. He asked about providing the service on a contract bases but was not pushy or insistent.

They were prompt. They actually had to come back twice. I own the house but the tenants were not there when they first came out and the exterminators arrived so they came back again. They didn't charge me extra or anything for that. They just came in and did their job quickly and efficiently and took care of our problem.

The two service people were very nice. They wore shoe covers when inside the house. The whole process took about 20 minutes. The problem is that the ant problem was unaffected by their product.

I bought a coupon for whole home interior AND exterior pest control treatment and when I call the number today 3/11/2013 at 3:30pm the number was disconnected. I tried several time and went to their website to make sure I had the right number and still got the recording that the number had been disconnected. jeff

HomeShield Pest Control came and did everything that was part of the offer. They were easy to work with. The only thing that people should know is really a leverage way for them to get you to use their monthly service. There is no pressure but that is the window that they are looking to jump into and that is what you need to know before you get in. They did everything they said they would and kept it clean.

other than the fact that they were slammed with referrals and it was hard to reach them to schedule the first appt.--- they have been great. i am continuing to use them. i really like the friendliness and professionalism of the tech they send out to my house. it is good for their co.

I had pest issues and everything went relatively well except, on the second spraying, they completely spattered my exterior windows with chemicals. I cleaned the four windows I could reach and, to HomeShield's credit, they sent someone out to clean a window that was beyond my reach yet was streaked & filmy. It was a bit of aggravation, but they did take care of the issue when it was brought to their attention. Hopefully, their technicians will be instructed to pay attention to this in the future.

The service rep was prompt in arriving and was very friendly and informative. I think overall he did a good job, but I do have a couple of minor criticisms. First, he parked his truck in our driveway without checking with us to see if it was alright. Not a big deal, but it would have been good to ask first. Second, part of the treatment required drilling small holes through our aggregate driveway, each about one foot apart. Although he was careful and put plastic caps over the holes, the drilling produced a few very small chips around each hole that will need more brown aggregate sealer to cover and seal them. It would be good if they carried a supply of the sealer to take care of this right away, or at least give the customer a small amount to seal the chips later. Third, the rep didn't have a shop vac on his truck to vacuum up the grit from drilling the holes, so I lent him my own vac, which again is no big deal. But gear like that should be standard on all of their trucks. Finally, the termite protection deal required a 2-year agreement to use their regular pest control service, which we were happy to do since the overall price was so good. When the service rep came into our house to do the spraying, he said the stuff he was spraying would dry in 10 minutes or so. But in some places, it puddled and didn't dry for over an hour. In fact, I had to take a rag and wipe those places up. (Although he assured me that the chemicals weren't toxic to pets, we have a cat and didn't want her to start licking the stuff up.) Again, he was very nice and I'm sure will adjust his process next time to accommodate my concerns. I'm probably pickier than the average person, but overall was satisfied with the service and will continue to use them.

They were very professional and very helpful any time I had interactions with them. I spoke with them to schedule but I had to call and cancel because of health reasons. They were helpful recently explaining the refund process with Angie's List as well.

They were very professional from their rapport to cleanliness. They gave prompt service. I have continued to use them with the service contract in my house and a rental home I have. They will tell you when they are coming out in advance. They are very diligent. They are very comfortable and honest folks.

am pleased with service and the professional way the young man performed. called me before arrival to let me know approximately when he would be at my home. answered all questions i had about what he would do and why.
