Their service is good and I have been using them off and on for a year and a half. They are professional and do what they say. They are always on time and reliable.

It was fine. The service was completed right after I purchased the big deal and the price of the deal covered everything. I continue to use them since I have a service contract with them now. I use them yearly now and their price is a little bit higher. They come in and out and I do not see them much but they do a good job.

I had purchased this Big Deal to use at one of my rental properties however when the technician showed up my tenant would not allow him into the home. The technician tried on two different occasions to perform the service and was denied access both times. I have requested that Angie's List refund my purchase.

Receive pest/termite services every two months. Pet safe, Roger, our technician, is terrific!

He explained the process in detail and asked questions making sure we knew everything we needed. Jesse was very professional and personal. He was on time and explained the process again. He was quick and efficiant. We will definitely work with them again.

Our concern was for mice in the pantry. The Provider, Home Shield Pet Control, concluded that the mice were coming from the attic or basement and set traps in both places in addition to spraying. One mouse was killed in the basement by the traps that evening, so the Provider's analysis was apparently correct. The Provider's representative (a woman) arrived on time and went directly to work spraying. I had to provide a ladder for the Provider to get into the attic to spray and set traps. T he Provider sprayed all indoor rooms and around the house foundation outside. The Provider sprayed the basement and set traps in the basement. The Provider showed us how to set traps and left a few as replacement traps. Before leaving, the Provider cleared out all cobwebs inside and outside to the house. The Provider left a receipt which also contained prices for the quarterly services and a phone to call in the event we were interested?there was no more than a minimum of "sales talk". The Provider was using the opportunity to show how they worked and how efficient they were rather than using the occasion to talk us into a yearly contract. However, she left enough information for us in the event we were interested in a long-term contract. The entire visit was approximately one hour.

I was contacted by the provider upon submitting a coupon from Angie's List. They came out and treated my home very soon afterward. I was looking to change pest control providers, and was impressed enough to sign an ongoing contract with them. Since the initial treatment, they typically do external application only, but I needed an inside one done on the last visit in December and they came and did it at a time that was convenient for me. I am very happy with their service.

They came on time and sprayed the inside and outside of home for bugs.

They were great. They rectified everything. I haven’t seen any rodents since the treatment. We signed up for a quarterly service with them. The technician was great, nice, and pleasant. I would rate him an A. He got the job done in less than an hour.

They did an indoor/outdoor treatment and laid some sticky traps in an attempt to rid our home of spiders. I wasn't too impressed with the deal. The technician was about 2-3 hours late and when she did show up, she wasn't very informative. I don't feel like I got anything out of it.

Have not sprayed yet, to late in year, waiting for spring.

Homeshield's tech arrived on time and had actually performed the treatment of the perimeter of the house before we met with him. Once inside, he explained their pet-and-eco-friendly pest treatments and performed inside treatment. We paid for a year of quarterly service. Within days, we could see evidence of the effectiveness of their service. Highly recommended.

Young technician very polite & informed.

It was good. The guy who did the service was helpful. We asked him a lot of questions and he provided some good information on pest control. The work turned out good.

I had problems with Brown Recluse Spiders and those pesky, and also dangerous, red Wasps. I had two large wasp nests that the tech got rid of after spraying the wasps. He treated the inside of the house for the spiders as well as in the attic and in the crawlspace under the house. |He noted that the glue traps I had down to trap the spiders were still good, so he didn't put any new ones down, but he left me some to use later. I thought he did a good job. He said that we might see some spiders or other insects appear that might have been chased out of their habitat due to his treatment, but (knock-on-wood) we haven't seen nary a critter since he treated.

Presumably it went well - I wasn't home. The technician called me to say he was on the way and the invoice/receipt was in my front door when I got home later. This is the procedure we've used since I signed up for repeated treatments. In the spring I'd had two mice in my house, something that had never happened to me in any house I've ever lived in. They were seen a couple of weeks apart and one of my cats had dispatched them both. When the technician called that time, I made it a point to be home. He conducted the standard interior treatment, and then I told him about the mice and how my cat stares intently at a very specific area - the base of the vanity in one of the bathrooms - even though I couldn't see anything happening. The technician discovered that, when the carpet had been applied to the floor in front of the vanity, it partially covered the baseboard but hadn't been glued down. When he pulled the carpet away, there was a square hole on each end, as if the base of the vanity hadn't been measured quite right, and then the carpet simply laid on top of it, which visually covered both holes. He was positive this is where the mice were getting it, and it was the exact area that fascinated my cat so much. He also checked places where pipes (water, AC) come into the house and found nothing that would invite or encourage mice trying to get in, and found no indication of them having been anywhere else, like droppings or chewed materials. He had steel wool on his truck and stuffed both holes in the vanity base as tightly with it as he could. I haven't seen any more mice and my cat seems to have lost interest in the vanity's base.

They sprayed for insects inside and outside around perimeter of our house. Even though spiders were not listed to be covered, our spider problem was resolved.

The service provider was very professional. Did a thorough job.

The man who came did a great job. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable when we had questions about the process and chemicals used. Would definitely use them again

I will never do business with Homeshield Pest Control again because I moved from a home we owned into a rental and the current landlord already has a contract in place with an exterminator for their properties. Needless to say, I did not have the option of transferring my current service to the new rental, but low and behold, Homeshield felt they were entitled to a contract breakage fee in the amount of $140 which either way you look at it, was 2 months worth of service, or the discount on the initial consultation which had a list price of $250 but they offered me a deal for $110 (savings of $140). There should be a provision in their contracts for things that are beyond their customer's control, and this is one of them. I do not feel they deserve the $140, nor do I feel that their services should be locked into a contract for 12 months at a time. Seems to me, you provide a service and you get paid for that service....not the other way around.

I have continued with their service and they have been providing good service. I do not know about the pricing of such service because I did not do a lot of comparisons but I have an annual contract with them now.
