They came out and sprayed around, then he went outside and sprayed part of it, but I want it all sprayed outside.

Robert Reed arrived at my home about 40 min. late but, I understand that I am not the only person on the planet and really shows me that he gives each customer proper time to do things right. He was courteous and very professional and explained everything that was to be done and will e-mail a copy of all material used.

They were excellent. They were knowledgeable and came when they were supposed to. They did a great job.

We had some scheduling issues at first because of different circumstances, however they seemed to have done a good job, so far.

We were approached by a very friendly salesperson one afternoon at our door, and he talked with us for quite awhile about the company and what they do. He was knowledgeable about what chemicals Home Shield uses, and how they would affect insects and critters in our yard and home. We have quite a lot of unwanted insects outside (ticks, fleas, wasps, mosquitoes, slugs, etc), but I didn't want harsh chemicals used that could potentially harm bees or butterflies, which I do want. He assured me the products used are natural and safe for humans and pets. I was debating over buying the service, and he even waited while I came in and checked Angie's List for their reviews!! I decided to go with a the full year service contract they offer. They set up the initial treatment for a few days later, and were very punctual. One tech took care of the outside, while the 2nd tech came in the house, asked me where our problem areas were (we have a horrible ant problem) and explained to me about the product they use for ants and what it does. He spayed each room upstairs and down, was very polite and professional. He also explained that if I continued to have any issues inside the house, they would come back to re-treat, but I haven't had any issues, so I haven't needed them to! The entire service last only about 20 minutes and they were done. A month later was my first true scheduled service call, where only the outside was treated. I was reminded of service with a nice email, I didn't have to be home, they came, treated the outside, and even left some "critter" traps for us to use if needed. So far, I am happy with the service, and have seen a decrease in bugs inside my home that in other summers, we have had problems with. As promised, my bees and butterflies are still here outside, but there has definitely been a decrease in other bugs, most notably fleas and ticks that are not all over my cat this year as they have been in other years! Technician called a few minutes after the appointment time and ended up being about 15 minutes late. He told me what he would be doing, completed it and discussed it further afterwards. I had a spider and web upstairs and after he left, the spider was still there. Had he done a thorough job, he would have found and removed this spider. He offered several options if I wanted a service plan but did not pressure me to buy. He completed this service yesterday so it's too early to tell how effective it was. Because he was late and didn't call to notify me as well as the spider issue, I would say they did not meet my expectations. Also, the tech was friendly but a bit too talkative for my liking.

The tech was so thorough and did a great job cleaning off all the webs and wasp nest on the porch and back. Great job overall.

The worker, Greg Moore, was wonderful. He was prompt, kind and had a great work ethic.

Purchased $69 whole home protection online here on Angie's List and received a call from them within 24 hours. Setup my appt for that Saturday. Rep called on Saturday to confirm time and then called early afternoon as he was actually ahead of schedule. He sprayed yard and inside of house. He was extremely friendly, polite and explained each step of the spraying process. Said it takes up to 2 weeks for spray to fully take effect, but we had dead bugs within hours. I also received follow-up calls from them a few days after to confirm my satisfaction. Will call them again in a few months for follow-up treatment.

Went well. They showed up on time, were friendly, quick, and knowledgable. Solid service we would use again.

The service turned out fine. They have visited once with no followed up just yet. The technician was friendly, courteous and very informative. They are supposed to come back out for a follow up in about a month. Scheduling was very easy.

Very well. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would. He told me exactly what he was going to do, and then did it. Very curteous and time efficient. The same person comes back every month and is incredibly helpful. I had a reoccuring problem with Ants in my kitchen and they are gone!

purchased via Angies List however it took three days to be contacted by company. Appointment scheduling was easy. I remember being told the appt was at a specific time but when the tech called the day of the appt. he told me he was about 1/2 hour out for my 3-4pm appt. So, Maybe I misunderstood and the appt was a time frame rather than a specific time. In any event the technician was professional and he answered all my questions and went right to work. I thought that the application was fast -- too fast to do a good job. Also he didn't do the attic or the garage like the website implied they do. I didn't want to complain because I thought the price was good even for a quick once over. I do see ants out in the garage but again .... I don't think he ever went in the garage. I'll have to call another company to treat the yard so I will ask them if they can hit up the exterior of the house and the garage. Overall - Home Shield did what I expected for the price paid.

A very professional, friendly young man came - on time - and finished the job in no time at all, also answering all my questions as he did it! It's been a little more than a week, and I haven't seen an ant since, so as of this date, it seems I made a good choice regarding extermination companies.

From the time I purchased the deal I was in contact with the company in a very timely and professional manner. We scheduled date and time that services would be performed and the technician called me 20min before reaching my house. He walked my property with me and explained what he would be doing. I let him get to work and in no time flat he was done inside. When I questioned "you're done already" thinking it was too quick and I was skeptical he had not done it all, he said "yes mam I've been doing this 3 years and I move quick". I said ok and he moved onto the outside of the property. When he was done I asked him about annual maintenance service, he explained to me the company's process. I called my husband to discuss the options and I filled out the papers for quarterly service. He was not pushy in any way. He was very polite and said if i was interested he could do it now and if I wasn't that was ok too. Overall I was very pleased with the service and I look forward to seeing how it goes the rest of the year,

The gentleman came at the scheduled time, asked me a few questions and got to work. He sprayed a liquid chemical along the baseboards in most of the rooms, and then they did the Brown Recluse treatment. They puffed a powder into all of the AC outlets and light switch covers. They then put out sticky traps in every room, sometimes 2-3 traps. A few days later I was inspecting the crawl space, and when I opened the door, there was a recluse! I know that recluse treatments take a while to work, but I didn't feel like there was any powder in my crawl space. I called Home Shield again and asked if they could come out and really dust the crawl space, as I never go in there and I wanted to ensure that the spiders would die when in the crawl space. They came back out, free of charge, and dusted the crawl space very thoroughly. I was very happy with their response to my (possibly impatient) request, but they listened and did what I asked. I definitely am happy with the service. They plan to call me up in a month or two to check on the amount of spiders caught in the sticky traps. And hopefully we can get these spiders under control.

Easy to make an appt. Friendly customer service. Answered my questions about treatment. Arrived promptly. No bugs seen since visit.

The technician that treated the house was very nice and very informed about their services.

He came and located an ant hill that we have. He put bait out and he did not explain very well how long it would take for it to work. I needed him to come out again as it was not working and he came again but it still did not work. I have used a different company since that time and the ants are gone. This company was punctual and nice but I think they did not put enough bait down. They asked me the second time they came if I wanted a contract but I wanted to wait and I am glad I did because the service did not work.

It went well. We had originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, but the lady couldn't make it due to a conflict, so we rescheduled for Saturday morning and everything went according to plan and schedule.

Service was scheduled for 2:00 pm. He called around that time and said that he was 30 min. away. He arrived around 2:30 pm. He treated the inside and outside of my condo as specified in the order. It appeared to be a thorough treatment. This is the first time I have used the service. He said that I have 60 days to respond if I find that the treatment did not work. I can't respond to the above question re quality until after this 60 day period. My primary concern was for treatment of carpenter bees.

It worked out fine. I bought the deal and then they sent an e-mail within 24 hours. We set up a time and they came out and did it. I don't have any complaints.

It went great and seems to have worked.
