Things did not go very well. They did larger repairs for my bathtub faucets. He told me to get a certain thing at a major home improvement store and I spent some money on that and it was not right. It was a lot cheaper than what he would have provided himself, I think was his idea. My house is in a tremendous mess and he was very rude about that despite the fact that I had put down drop cloths. Eventually someone else replaced the fixtures in the bathtub. It didn't cost so much with him because they used very simple parts, including washers, to stop the flow. That type of cure would last several months. He did some work right. I didn't contact them about the problem, I got somebody else instead.

We were contacted by the water department that we had a water leak on our property and that our monthly water bill would be $775. We searched the house and yard and couldn't find the leak, so contacted Holt Plumbing. They responded quickly (within a couple hours) and spent 3-4 hours digging in the yard until they found where the water line had broken due to a tree limb growing through it. They promptly repaired the pipe, turned the water back on, and prepared the notarized affidavit to provide to the water department so that our water bill could be adjusted. The two men who performed the work were professional and hard-working.

The overall service on the start, was acceptable. The provider was professional and handled the specific needs. The problems occurred afterwards with the office staff. 1) A confirmed appointment with a staff member to provide pricing was a no-show. After following up with the company, as unforeseeable situation was explained and the company apologized. A second appointment was scheduled and the visit was not completed on the second instance, also a no show, no call. At this point, we decided to work with a competitor. 2) A check was mailed in December for the service provided upon receipt of the invoice. 3) A second invoice was received in January for the service, I called to inform them that a check was mailed in December. Their oh so lovely assistant told me it was not received, which I find doubtful. I sent a second check in January (after reviewing my records) to their Murfreesboro Pike address. 4) I received a call on 2/17 informing me that my payment to them was 60 days past due. I informed them a check was sent, they nearly demanded payment by credit card over the phone. Reluctantly, I provided a credit card over the phone to settle this bill. 5) The Angie's List discount was not honored on this invoice for whatever reason. I am seriously concerned as to the management of their offices and have to imagine that after no shows and the failure to receive two checks that their organization failure is a much bigger issue than just a simple "oops".

First, I was pleased to get a plumber the next day. We had a new washer and dryer to install and decided at the last minute that we were not comfortable installing the gas dryer ourselves. The Holt company was able to schedule the installation the next day. We had a new washer and dryer sitting on the front porch and the old washer and dryer in a tight-spaced laundry closet. The dryer had to come out first, before the old washer could come out. Mark disconnected the gas dryer and moved it out, then helped move out the old washer and moved in the new washer and connected it , then moved the new gas dryer into the space and connected it. In the end, we had the new washer and dryer installed and the old ones out on the porch for freecycling. Pretty good deal!

Plumber went into crawl space. Coordinating with me via cell phone, we tested sink and tub flows and found no link. Then he had me spray the shower wall with the handheld showerhead. This helped him determine that the link was behind an uncaulked shower fixture behind the shower faucet control. He caulked the shower fixture, then went away to let it set. He came back late in the afternoon. He went back into the crawl space, I sprayed the wall, he saw the that leak was stopped. I've used Holt a couple of times. They get the job done without trying to sell me on semi-annual inspections and the like. And they are reasonably priced.

No work performed yet. This is to correct earlier review. Somehow they used a wrong email for me ,, took a while to find it.

Richard was on time. He was very professional and knew exactly what was needed. He even educated me on plumbing matters. He was finished in no time and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Holt Plumbing to anyone.

The part that needed to be fixed on the hot water heater was a fairly standard part. The plumber said he didn't have one on his truck and had to go get one. He took two hours and charged me regular plumber's rates for those two hours. He did not advise me ahead of time that would be done. When I called the company to ask about it, they were really rude and then hung up on me. I will NEVER use this company again.

Disposer install went well. Installer not familiar with cartridge for tub faucet. Had to return to shop for took, call for help and all the while I am being charged for his time. Got expensive while he learned what to do.

Robert was extremely nice. I've used him twice and both times he's been very helpful and respectful. I would recommend them to anybody.

Called Around 8 am had Chris out by 11.30 am to make repair. I had the parts and Holt supplied a knowledgeable, professional plumber to make the job quick and easy. Kudos to Chris and Holt Plumbing. Great Service A +++

David Williams showed up on time. He was professional and presentable upon introducing himself. We explained what we wanted and he went right to work. After returning from under the crawlspace he gave us a great option of having the water shut off on the floor. We have used Holt Plumbing several times over the past 2 years and will continue to use them in the future. This is a great Company and I highly recommend them.

Was leaving on a trip when I discovered a leak under the sink. Called and service rep was there within a couple of hours...just as promised. Problem was resolved quickly (leaky pipe) and fixed immediately. I was a happy camper off on my trip!

Dave was funny and professional. I've used Shawn before, too, and he was equally as nice. This is my 3rd time to use Holt and I will be calling them again for any plumbing issues, Magnet's on the fridge!

Overall better than expected, Service was excellent and timely. Quality workmanship and testing to confirm leak was fixed.

I had my bath/shower fixtures replaced by a handyman from a local company, but the work was not done correctly. For example, he left a gap between the faucet handle and the shower wall and he did not install the washer in the correct place. Because of these problems I had no confidence in his being able to correct the problems, so I called Holt Plumbing to have the fixtures re-installed. I was pretty frustrated at having to pay twice to have the same work done, but when Gary arrived he quickly took care of all the problems and fixed a leaking faucet too. I was thrilled to have such great service, considering that repair people often don't seem to be qualified. I highly recommend Holt Plumbing.

This is the second time I have used them. So far, so good.

When I initially contacted this company, a representative was sent to my home promptly. He made a very thorough review of the project and explained me what they will do. Then the office emailed me a written quote. Although I had one quote less than Holt's, I decided to go with them. Chris and Eric arrived as scheduled. They only took 5 minutes to plan everything. They assured me that they will not leave until the job is complete and I am happy. Chris is very knowledgeable and Eric was his assistant. They both were extremely courteous, professional, and hardworking. They finished the job, cleaned the place up, and thanked for the business. I could not have been happier. I will not hesitate to call Holt Plumbing in the future. I have read the only evaluation from one customer in Angie's list where the customer was not pleased the way they handled an appliance installation. I thought that happens to most businesses - sometimes they fail in spite of their best attempt. I will highly recommend this company to my friends.

On intial visit I was told what the issues were (dishwasher valve and old water heater) and told to call to schedule a return visit to fix theses things on the following Monday afternoon when the part would be in. I scheduled an afternoon appointment on Friday for the following Monday. Nobody came on Monday (after I took a 1/2 day off to wait for them) and when I called to check, I wasn't even on the schedule and the part wasn't in, even if I had been on the schedule. They had "dropped the ball". I scheduled to have the plumber come back Wed. evening after we established that I would not be paying overtime for the visit since it was after hours becuase they had not honored our appointment Monday. The plumber was late and got a flate tire in my driveway, further delaying the job by at least an hour. He installed the new water heater but by about 9:30 PM, I asked him to leave so that we could get some sleep. He promised to come back Saturday to take the old water heater out and install the dishwasher part. Saturday came and went. No plumber. When I got in touch with the company, they told me the plumber had quit the day after he was at my house. Nobody followed up with his customers regarding the jobs he was on or if they were finished. They "dropped the ball" but promised to call me when the dishwasher part came in (still didn't have the correct one). When I called them to schedule once the part finally came in the following Wed., I was yelled at by the dispatch person and told that I was being "unsypmathetic" to the difficulties they have had to endure because their appliance person quit. I was told I would just have to wait to see when they could send somebody after 5PM and hung up on. I will not hire this company again, and I suggest you go elsewhere. I don't know how these people stay in business.

They were very responsive. They arrived on the day I called and at the time they said they would come and did a good job. They do charge a $5 fuel charge, which they informed me upfront. However, the dispatcher failed to tell me that the first 30 minutes is for drive time and you only get a half hour's work from the 1st hour. Therefore, they billed me for 2 hours. I did get the manager, David to adjust off the 30 minutes. It is not noted on their website either. They do have a one hour minimum, which I understand, but they were at my home over an hour, so I don't expect an extra charge here.

They showed up on time to do the work. They did a good job on the two faucets. But on the dish washer started leaking. We found out that the plumber did not put in the new drain pipe.

They did a good job but I felt the didn't use their time efficiently. The cost was $300 over their original estimate because it took longer than they thought it would.

Had this same job done about 6 years ago and paid twice as much for a poorly done job. I am thrilled with the work done and everything was put back the way they found it!
