They confirmed the appointment, arrived on time and provided the estimate. Called back when replacement glass was ready for installation, again installation professionally handled. Pleasantly surprised when they indicated that there was a 20 year warranty on the window.

Came promptly when called (unlike most others I contacted), measured, and returned an estimate within 24 hours (unlike any others I called); when the window arrived, the installers were courteous, considerate, and professional--the job was not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination--required workers on ladders both inside and outside the house; the window was extremely heavy and the room was small to work in. They were great. The owner came out to personally inspect the installation. The price was reasonable and there were no problems at all.

Of 9 calls I made to glass/window specialists, 5 actually came to our home to measure; one did not provide non-standard windows; 1 did not follow up with an estimate; of the remaining 3, Glass Doctor was the most responsive and the most reasonable, providing an estimate nearly $1000 less than the highest estimate. Although there was a delay that was not Glass Doctor's fault (the window arrived from the manufacturer broken and had to be re-ordered), the local company was polite, punctual, and professional at every step of the process. It took 3 men (2 on the inside, 1 out) to remove the old window, which they did without causing any damage or disruption in the house. Installation was difficult because of the height of the window's location and the cramped quarters in the bathroom. We were very pleased and impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail, the thoroughness of their work, and their concern for our home. We recommend them highly, especially for "specialty" work such as ours.

I got the call that the glass was ready sooner than promised, which is always a pleasant surprise. Dustin and Toby were both very professional and hard-working. I think the large piece of glass was heavier than expected and more difficult to remove than anticipated. But they figured out a plan, got the old glass out and the new glass in without delay. They also provided the name of a company to help replace the wood work around the window. The results are terrific. We can see out the windows, and they offer a 5-year guarantee on their products. A great experience. Would recommend them and will use them again!

This job went PERFECTLY! From the first call to the final install, it was a breeze. My husband and I were very impressed with Glass Doctors. They responded within several business hours to my original request for quote. Within a day or two, the windows were measured. Then, as soon as the glass came in - the install was scheduled for very soon thereafter. The gentleman who performed our install (John, I believe) was very professional and a joy to be around. We are dog-owners, and it's always a 3-ring circus when servicemen come into our home. John wasn't phased though, and was great with the dogs. They loved him! Any man who gets on his knees to meet our dogs/scruff their ears is a winner in our book. :-) He worked quickly and efficiently, and left our windows looking amazing. We will absolutely be calling Glass Doctors again for any future glass needs.

Prompt quick call back on my request for a quote. Still have not decided whom to use but they have the slightly lower price. Am please, just hope service will be as pleasing if I do use them.

I began contacting door installers in May when I knew that the tile work on our shower would be done around the end of June. One provider would not come out to give a price and measure until the tile was installed. They estimated the cost at $1500. Another provider never responded to my email. Glass Doctor estimated the cost at $1100+ but was willing to come out and do a pre measure and give a firmer price. They called ahead and showed up on time for the pre measure. After the measurement they called and gave us a price of $850( much better than original estimate). We decided to use them for the door. They came to do the final measurement as arranged and called back the next week with a delivery time. They showed up on time and installed the door as agreed. The tile was so hard it took them almost 3 hours to drill the holes for the door installation. There was no extra charge. Some pieces of grout fell off due to the drilling vibration. He replaced that at no additional charge. He also pointed out some cracks in the caulk that could lead to water problems. Thanks to him I was able to contact the tile installer and have all this fixed. The people we met represented the company in a very professional manner. Great job. If you are looking at a new shower door, please consider these people. Also, we had a coating added at $75 that keeps the water from streaking and staining the door. It works great.

Very well and I'm truly pleased!!!

There was one small issue and they're going to resolve it. They came back and adjusted the door right away. There was one other issue I noticed once I've started using it and they're coming back next week to take care of that. Everything was fine.

They were more expensive than the company we went with. They were on time. They sent someone out and then called back with the quote in a reasonable amount of time. It was a good experience, there wasn't anything negative at all, we just made our decision based on price. They even called back afterwards to check and see if we were interested in going with them.

Requested several quotes and they were the cheapest. They came out a measured the window and ordered a new one. We had our new window installed within a week.

My experience with them was good and it was a very straightforward job. I used them and they did a good job.

My first experiences with Glass Doctor were not favorable, however, after I posted my experience on Angile's List.. Bill (the owner) called to ask what happened and what they could do to make it right. Bottomline, my experience with them since has been A+. As a consumer and someone that provides services myself, I know that companies aren't always going to be perfect and they will make mistakes, so I'm tolerant of mistakes as long as I see a company own up to its mistakes and attempt/try to fix the problem. I'm pleased to find that Glass Doctor of Nashville gets the SERVICE end of being in business. There aren't many companies today that still understand what customer service means.

They were great. They came out very quickly and took care of the broken glass. They immediately put in the new glass. They were very professional and easy to work with. I would call them again for any window or glass need.

I first used the Glass Doctor during the 2010 flood. My Mother's house was destroyed, and she needed a couple of bathroom mirrors and some shelving. I liked Bill instantly on the phone. Super friendly, attentive and interested. Also very sympathetic...they gave my Mom a great deal, and one of their employees at the time lived down the street so he delivered the glass on his way home at no charge. I had an enormous piece of glass that I had ruined in an attempt at some glass-painting, and they took it and blasted off all of the paint saving me hundreds of dollars for a replacement. These guys just go out of their way to really make sure you get the best price possible. Would never use anyone else!

Our dog jumped through the large glass pane in our front door. We had a big hole in our door and it was the middle of winter so we wanted to get it fixed ASAP. I found Glass Doctor Nashville online because they had emergency repair services. They were there fixing my front door within 2 hours of me calling them. The repairman had a mobile glass-cutting unit so he could work out of his truck, and was extremely professional and fast. The door looked like new when he was done. He also gave me a free can of glass cleaner! My husband was disappointed that it cost so much for just one pane of glass (52" x 15") but I was just glad they could come out so quickly and fix the problem. Also, the repair to the glass was a lot less than the repair to the dog!

I phoned Glass Doctor on 11/8/2011 and set an appointment for 9am on 11/9/2011. They arrived on time, inspected the crack and said there was no need for repair due to a previous repair in the same area. No charge, no time wasted, very honest technician.
