As of 02/06/13, over 8 months after services were provided we have yet to receive the entire amount due. Our original invoice was 816.00 billed on 5/21/12. Our terms are net 30 days. We did not receive our first payment until 8/2/12 of $250.00. We then received another payment on 10/22/12 of $150.00. Then we received a payment of $50.00 on 1/18/13. This account is now over 8 months past due and they still owe $366.00. I'm sure Energy Masters received payment for our services from their customer and should of paid use promptly and have yet to do so. Does not speak well for their business practises.
Description of Work: On 05/21/12 we provided Air Duct Cleaning services to Energy Masters for one of their customers located at 412 Belle Pointe Dr. Nashville,TN. 37221

I had the company come out for a spring air conditioner service. The system was not cooling when they came out for the service. I noticed that I had to add freon to the system 2 times last year. After the spring service all of the freon had leaked out within a week. I was told that since the system was about 13 years old that it would be more cost effective to replace the system than to fix it which would have been about $2900.00. The technician explained the system that he recommended was more efficient that the original system with a longer warranty. I made an appointment to install the system. The technicians arrived on time. The system was installed within a couple of hours. The old system was removed and all trash was cleaned up.
Description of Work: Installed new Tempstar 4-ton cooling condenser and Tempstar 4-ton evaporator coil with 10 year parts warranty and 1 year labor warranty.

The lack of professionalism of Energy Masters is unlike anything I have ever seen, and this is my fourth remodel in as many years. The owner himself said to me twice that my brand new Trane that was not working was not his problem. He twice told me that he was too hot to listen to my complaints about his company's quality of service. I received excuses for the mishandling of my warranty call from, We are a small family company, to we're having trouble with our phones, to it's not my problem. The last comment by the owner while standing in my driveway was that I was lucky to have one unit that works. I was about to tell him that what I have is not his business, it's what I don't have-a working unit installed by him, when my boyfriend chimed in and told him he didn't have to be an a*shole. That is when David, the owner of this company, tried coming to blows with my boyfriend, going to the back of his truck yelling ''come on'' all within 20 feet of my handicapped child.
Description of Work: New installation of Trane split-unit in second story of home which had previously been a duplex. The AC did not perform well the first summer and quit working completely before the 1 yr. Warranty was up. Service call found leak in compression joint. Within several days the same problem there again, thermostat at 75, room temp 81. I left a message with company voicemail and never got a call back. Weeks later I get a service call in which I am called ''sweetheart'' by the tech, am told that the poor performance of the company and unit are not his problem, that he is too hot to argue with me, and that the owner will be taking care of the problem. I get the owner the following day I immediately hear that he's not arguing with me, he's too hot, my non-working not being his problem, etc. He replaced a part that took days and still the unit is not working. He said he was deferring to Trane. Trane told him to replace another part. First service call 4/14, then 6/21. Still no AC 7/7 no call

I have used them for 10 years or more and have always been very happy with the company. There price is about the same as some other companies out there, but again I have used them for so long that I use them and trust them.
Description of Work: They serviced my heating air unit for my air conditioner.
