+ -1 moreDerrick was very upfront with his pricing, charging a flat rate per rough in ($300.00) and a 20% mark up on his supplies. He worked long hours and accomplished the work with a minimum of complications. He explained what we needed and why and was an excellent communicator. He was professional in his conduct and cleaned up after himself. As an added bonus, my wife and I made an error in communicating the location of a double sink bath vanity and Derrick moved it after he had already roughed in the drain. This was a lot of extra work for him but he took it in stride and didn't charge us extra.
Description of Work: Mr. Roberts roughed in our new construction addition, including water heater, washer/dryer, kitchenette, two commodes, two showers and one bath.

+ -1 moreOne day we had him scheduled to do some work and there was a snow storm the night before. We were sure that he was not going to show up. At 8 am we got a call letting us know he was going to be about 10 minutes late. I do feel like his prices might be as high as a big company, but the detailed work he provides is worth every penny.
Description of Work: We have used Derrick several times in different houses of ours. He has always been reliable and done top notch work. His last visit, Derrick had rougher in plumbing for a bathroom sink and installed a new shower valve and replaced the old shower pipes.

Description of Work: Derrick was referred to me by somebody not on Angie's list. . I was having problems with an under sink filter system, glass filler leak, faucet leak and I needed to install a toilet that I had already bought. Derrick and his brother came by as arranged, early evening, to examine the work needed. He mediatelt identified the filter system and leak problems. He told me that he could come back, or, if we didn't mind them working late, they could do the work right then, provided he could locate a better quality glass filler. I told him to go ahead. He located the part and they came back. They were very efficient, meticulous in their work and cleanup. I was willing to replace the filter system if necessary but Derrick discovered that our problems were due to a prior plumber installing part of the system backwards. Before they left, they removed the old toilet, installed my new one and hauled away the old. The bathroom was spotless when they left. Derrick is a true MASTER PLUMBER. Even better - his pricing is quite reasonable. I will use him for all of my plumbing needs and recommend him completely.

+ 0 moreI was looking for someone who would perform the work on a weekend without a surcharge. Derrick offered to come and do the installation on Sunday. He said he was working on another job that morning and would come as soon as he could. It was about 5:00 pm when he got here, but he came and did the work as promised. He was very efficient and courteous. He cleaned up after himself quite well. He also offered to come back for free if I had any problems. I haven't had any problems. Everything went just as he predicted, and it's working great. I would definitely recommend Roberts Plumbing for any job large or small. They are insured and bonded, and Derrick Roberts is a Master Plumber.
Description of Work: Had a bathroom lavatory installed. Required drilling into tile and mounting unit on wall. Installed cut off valves on hot and cold water. Installed faucets.
