Description of Work: I got an estimate for landscaping from Darren. He came when he said he would, came back with a plan and an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided just what I asked for and gave me some good ideas. I would use him again, and would recommend him to others.

+ 0 moreThe unique requests I had made to Darren were: (1) I wanted a small tree in the front yard, (2) I wanted a solution for my fence such that my weeping willow would no longer be growing into the fence line, (3) I wanted native plants, and (4) I wanted something with minimal maintenance that could also tolerate a playful dog. Darren's proposal was impressive in presentation, however he only addressed one of the four requests I had--moving the fence so the tree would no longer be growing into it. I appreciate the effort he put into the design, but I wished he had listened to me and proposed something that satisfied my requests. It's useful to have a rough price estimate for the work, but other than that, I won't be using the proposal.
Description of Work: I hired Darren to develop a landscape design for both my front and back yards, which included two garden plots and replacement of a fence. Darren came out and walked my property with me, and we discussed ideas for the garden. After this, while it was drizzling, he measured the property, and let me know when he was done. A couple of weeks later, he returned to my house with a drawing for the new garden and landscaping, as well as supporting materials describing his recommended plants, costs, etc.

+ -1 moreI love him. He is the most fabulous thing in the world. I pay $45 a week. They are wonderful and courteous. They do what they say they are going to do and they are here when they say they will be. It has been a wonderful experience. I went through 3 before them and they are just wonderful. They are dependable and conscientious. They will pick up things like paper in the yard.

+ -1 moreThe process went from my initial call which was answered quickly.. an appointment was set for a review of the present gardens. He came on time sharing great ideas. Returned with the architectural diagrams for the proposed changes. Answered all questions. When he had forgotten to plant some spring bulbs it took just one email and he was there rectifying the over site. He redid the gardens in late Fall and in early Spring I had concerns which he addressed to my satisfaction. Now the garden is absolutely fantastic I waited to write this review since I want to see the gardens in Spring. They are absolutely beautiful.
Description of Work: Darren did a complete makeover of 2 major garden beds at our home. He presented professional landscape drawings and descriptions of all flower beds and scrubs . Removed all existing over grown plants and scrubs Replanted and mulched all of our gardens. All email and telephone inquiries were promptly answered.
