Description of Work: Trying to catch moles. Did not catch any but they set up many traps and worked h****** the property.

Description of Work: He came and took care of the problem by putting a one-way trap door in the opening between my roof and house. All birds flew out and never returned. After 2 weeks he removed the trap and sealed the opening permanently. I was completely satisfied with the service and would definetly use him again if needed.

Description of Work: We hired this company to evaluate how a squirrel was getting into our attic. They were extremely thorough and identified several possible entry points that were repaired. They also set a trap outside to catch the squirrel but it apparently had already vacated the attic space and no evidence was found inside of any damage. I would definitely use the company again. They are extremely professional and explain exactly what needed to be done.

Description of Work: I had a telephne failure and after tracing the telephone lines in the crawlspace, I discovered two telephone lines chewed to point the telephones could not possibly work. I suspected there was a critter of some sort in the crawlsoace I called Critter Control on a Monday. Their representattive arrived on Tuesday, He inspected the crawl space and thought the damage was done by either a racoon or a posuum. He thought the critter had already left the crawlspace but to be safe he set out a trap just to be certain. Next morning I found a posuum in the trap. I called their representative and we worked out a time for hime to pick up the posuum. I am well pleased with the service and the outcome of the service provided. I will definetly use them again if I have another future critter problem.

Description of Work: We had a family of squirrels scampering around our attic. Critter Control isolated the problem and devised a plan to solve it quickly and humanely. Great service, great experience.

Description of Work: Had birds nesting in my roof soffit. Critter Control (Mike Rossi) did a great job in removing the soffit, cleaning out the nesting, spraying for mites (if any) and replacing soffit. With caulking, he closed all the gaps between the stone work and soffit to prevent re-entry. He made the extra effort to select a caulking that would blend well with the bricks and stone work and look natural like grout - and he chose a caulk that birds would be challenged to peck through. While he was on the ladder, Mike noticed some gaps between where the bricks meet the stone work in the arch over my front door. He closed those gaps with caulking to inhibit water intrusion. He didn't have to do that, but it was sure appreciated. He didn't charge me extra for the extra effort, either. He also saw some other openings that hadn't been noticed when he bid the work. He closed those, too, and still came in under his estimate. Great guy, obviously well studied in critter control of all kinds. My neighbor came over and was discussing critter problems in genral and Mike knew a great deal. While I hope that my critter problems are over, if I have need again, I'll call Mike and Critter Control.

Description of Work: Mike Rossi is knowledgeable and experienced in the field of pest control and extermination. We appreciate the manner in which he explains the work that is to be done, and his regular followup visits to reduce and, hopefully, eradicate populations of ground squirrels and moles.

Description of Work: I have a rental house and my tenant was complaining about a skunk smell. I called Critter Control and they came out the same day. He put traps around the house and I was told that there would be a charge for each animal that was caught. He offered to block the holes that he saw around the house. I declined because my husband said he would do that. He placed the traps and nothing was caught. He would check the traps often during the week. My tenant complained that the smell was getting worse and thought that possibly there could be a dead animal in the crawl space. He came back out and crawled into the crawl space and found a dead skunk and removed it. Still after removing for several weeks there was still a smell. My tenant called him on several occasions and he brought over some type of strong freshener for her to use. He was very responsive to her needs.

Description of Work: We have used Critter Control several times since we moved to Tennessee. We initially had a squirrel problem that was handled very well / efficiently by this company. Then we had birds nesting in our chimney. Again, handled professionally by Mike at Critter Control. Most recently we asked Mike to help us reduce the population of chipmunks around our house as they had begun to make their home in our basement crawl space. Once again, excellent service. I thought I should share our experiences with Angie's List and recommend the services of Critter Control to others. Way to go Mike!

Description of Work: After not having any rodent activity in my house last winter, this winter I began to find several mice in my kitchen and began to hear mice in my attic. I took initial steps myself (setting traps in the attic and crawlspace - since I didn't know what might be in my attic I set traps for mice, rats, and one squirrel trap). I found that it was mice and called Critter Control, not to catch the mice (since I was ok with doing that myself) but to help find where they were getting in. When they were initially supposed to come, they did not show within the 2-hour window they gave me. I called and they said their guys were delayed due to weather. I had to get to work so I said I'd need to reschedule. They said they would call me the next day to see if the day after that would still be ok. The next day the guy called and was very apologetic about not making it over before. He arrived the day after that at exactly the time he said (no 2-hour window) and was very professional. He told me that I was already using the best kind of traps and bait.

Description of Work: Set up a trap on the side of house to catch squirrels who had burrowed in the wood. Caught 2 large squirrels.
