I had been a loyal customer, with Comcast since 1996 in two different states. I moved to Nashville in 2005 and signed up for cable/internet. The internet service was really poor. Just never worked well from day one. I called several times but they never offered toe end any one out to look at it. I upgraded to a top of the line router thinking that would cure my issues, but no. So after 3 months of continuous "you are not connected to the internet" error messages, I started using my AT & T hotspot to connect since I work from home and had to get on line. I called Comcast to cancel my internet service and after 1 HOUR of conversation (on their end) - where I kept saying, please...I just want to cancel. The service rep got very nasty with me and said "well then what are you going to do for your internet" and I said...what I've been doing for most of the year...use my hot spot. They never offered to send someone out to try and correct the situation. The rep just got nasty. I don't miss them at all.

Description of Work: Comcast is the WORST company ever....it took me 2 weeks to get a tech to my house...i've been w/out internet and phone this long....had 2 guys come in one week.... spent a total of approx 10 hrs total at my house and STILL HAVE NOT FIXED MY PROBLEM.....they SUCK...i will NEVER use them again

Atrocious customer service and unclear billing. Attempting to call at any point generally leads to an hour plus of frustration being transferred multiple times and never getting a correct answer. The last time I moved I was told to keep my equipment and contact comcast to set it up in the new house. After bringing my equipment 500+ miles I was told I needed to return it to the original location in person. After hours of complaining they agreed to ship it back however claimed it got lost and billed me the full replacement amount. Unfortunately I still use them but plan on cancelling service the day our contract is up.
