I purchased this deal for my husband as a Christmas gift. I had to reschedule the appointment 2 different times (weather related, not the service provider). I called to reschedule again and they told me that they were sorry, but they could not honor the Angie's List deal because of some issues they experienced with Angie's List with the Terms & Conditions of the deal offered. The company said I had to obtain a refund from Angie's List, but they would honor the price if I wanted to book directly through them. The entire process was frustrating, and I just want my money back.

However as stated the Big Deal was only for Davidson County, and I am aware that you live within Davidson County, but the individual that you purchased it for did not. We had never used this service before when my wife called them to clean our house around October 3rd. While at our house, the lady who works for the service used a product on our dining room table that is not intended for simple dusting of wood services. The product ruined the finish of our table, which is a very nice cherry finish. We have had the table for seven years, and of course, it has matching chairs and a china cabinet. This makes it hard to replace just one component. The owner of the company was very apologetic about this happening at the outset and promised both my wife and me that he would make sure we were satisfied, either by repairing it or replacing it. We preferred to try to repair it first because we like our entire set and didn't want to have to give up the table. Unfortunately, my wife had to do all the work of finding some potential vendors to do the repair and then get estimates, etc. The table was picked up finally after almost a month of trying to get it worked out, and when it was brought back, the table was worse than when it had left our house. The repair company has the table again to try to get it right, and we don't know when we will get our table back. To top it off, today my wife was yelled at by the owner of CLS and he told her that "he has done all that he can do" and that basically if it can't be repaired, it is our problem. To replace the table would be about $1,200 and, as of right now, we have no idea if CLS plans to make us whole for this problem that they caused us. I highly recommend that you avoid this company. Update added on 12/5/12. On Friday, November 30, our table was returned to us by the furniture restoration company and it looked very good. This took nearly two months to accomplish and we are convinced that if it had not been satisfactory that we would have had no other solution offered by the CLS owner. The response provided by him below is a terrific example of what it has been like for my wife to deal with him - totally exhausting. We have heard all of the excuses (and apologies) dozens of times now, when all we wanted was our table back the way it was. We hope to never have contact with them again because life is too short to waste on so many words when actions are what count.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. I would like to address these concerns that the customer had mentioned. One of employees did use a product that we've used several times before on various furniture and have never had an issues with it before. When I found out about what had happened I called the customer immediately, explained to them what had happened and that I was very sorry. I told her that we would take care of it and not charge them for their clean. The customer wanted me call the company to see if there was anything that they had to restore it, and I did. I call the manufacturing company of the product and paid them to overnight me a restoring kit. Once I received it the next day I went out to the customers home and showed them the step by step instructions to repair the table and she wasn't happy the way it was looking so she wanted me to stop and I did. She wanted me to call a professional who specialises in restoring furniture, so I called the customer, and the furniture company with myself on the phone. I explained to him what the table looked like and what happened to it. He told us both that there was a process that I could do and if that didn't work there would be a 50\50 chance to fix it without refinishing it, so after he told us that she wanted me to come back out there to try the process and I did. After trying it her and her husband wasn't happy, so I told them that I would file a claim with our insurance company to either replace it or repair it. They told me that they wanted it to be repaired because they had a matching set and then I told them at that point that if we needed to replace the whole set then that's what we would do to make you happy. They still chose to get it repaired knowing that there was a 50\50 chance. I called our insurance company and filed the claimed giving them her name, address, and phone number. I offered to help her find a company to repair it and she said " how do you know that your going to find a company that I'm going to be happy with". I then said " well ma'am how am I supposed to know that I'm going to choose a company that you will be happy with? I going to do the same thing that your going to do. I'm going look on the internet and find some companies who specialize in that, and go with the best one". After speaking with the insurance company they told her and myself that she would have to find someone, to ensure that they find someone who they would be satisfied with. So with them having to find someone, it was up to them on who they chose and how long it would take. It was out of my control. I called her two to three times a week to see how things were going up till the time they found someone to fix it. Once the company brought the table back they were not satisfied at all, telling me that if it didn't look the way it should they brought it back again that I would buy her a new table. Since were a member of the Better Business Bureau I called them and the insurance company and explained to them what the customer had said and if there's anything else I could do and they both told me no, because I've did what I was supposed to do and that I've went above and beyond. They said that she chose to have it repaired and not replaced in the beginning and chose the company to fix it so, if they didn't fix it to there standards the company would either have to fix it or replace it, because your insurance company has already paid out to have it repaired. Once I told the customer what the B.B.B. and the insurance company had said she said that were going to replace their table because had it not been for us messing it up they wouldn't be dealing with this and then I told her that we were sorry and that we've done all that we could do and if the company doesn't fix it, it would be up to them to fix it or replace it. Expressing to her that I was very sorry that this had happened and had we known that this was going to happen we would have never had used the product on your table. I told her then and one other time that we've used this product several times before with no issues. Here at Christ Lead Cleaning Services, LLC. We take our business very serious and treat all of our customers with the up most respect standing on some core principles. Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, and Respect. We understand that its our customers who help make up our company, and if it wasn't for our customers there would be no C.L.S. Again were very sorry that this had happened, but I've truly done everything that I could do to make them happy. Again we had no idea that this was going to happen.

I just scheduled my appointment and they came to my house the day of and detailed, cleaned, waxed, and buffed my car right in my driveway!!!! Looked like a new car when I went out to see the final results. Was in the market of selling my car that week, and within two days of having it cleaned with Christ Lead Cleaning Service, I sold my car !!!!
