Greg and James did a terrific job repairing, replacing and cleaning my dryer vent. They discovered that the dryer venting had been run through an attic crawl space and had been damaged over the years. They replaced the entire dryer vent system and made improvements. The job was accomplished very quickly because they had the necessary materials on the truck. My clothes dryer now works efficiently.

Our family has been working with Chimney Kleen for over 20 years. We have referred countless friends and co-workers to Chimney Kleen because of the excellent service we've always received from them. You will not find a more professional company, nor one more willing to accommodate your needs. We have owned three houses during the time we've used Chimney Kleen and each time we bought a new house, the owner came out to meet our home inspector and gave us a specialized report for our chimney and dryer vent situations. His expert advice saved us from buying a home with a potential fire hazard and they worked with us to repair the problem in a professional manner. In every case where we've hired them for repairs, the repairs were done quickly, cleanly, and best of all I've NEVER, in over 20 years, had to call them back to fix something they did wrong. You can't put a price on that. I have dealt with many other companies who don't seem to care about doing the job right the first time, and I don't know about anyone else, but I'll take the quality of a company like Chimney Kleen over them any day.

I feel as though I was taken advantage of as far as price and what work needed to be done. I paid $289.95 for a "Type 2" chimney cleaning, but was actually told by another company that all I needed was a Type 1 for $179. I was also sold a chimney cap for $426,03 with a "lifetime warranty", but they could not produce any paperwork when I later questioned this. After more research, I found that chimney caps of the type I bought are usually priced at about $250. When I later called to discuss this, Jim Singleton, the owner, was very rude and hung up on me. When I tried calling any of the 3 other locations, the same person answered, so there may be 4 different phone #s at the same location.

Chimney Kleen was easy to get a hold of and they showed up on time. They were clean, neat and did a great job. I appreciate that they left us fireplace safety information while they were here.
