Avoid This Contractor -- Poor Work and Disrespectful Service I strongly regret hiring Alan Clark and Carpet Source for our flooring project. He came recommended by our insurance agent and initially seemed charming and knowledgeable as a salesperson. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The installation was subpar--full of careless mistakes that any professional should have caught. My father has been in the flooring industry for 40 years, so I know the difference between quality work and a sloppy job. When we raised our concerns, instead of listening with empathy or working toward a reasonable solution, he was more interested in defending himself and proving he was right. To make matters worse, he was condescending and dismissive when speaking to both my wife and me - unacceptable. A good contractor stands behind their work and treats their customers with respect. If you're looking for quality craftsmanship and professional service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Huge noticeable seams. Tried to repair the seams twice and left with the suggestion it needs to be walked on more.

Excellent, professional company.

I have not made a choice on who I will be using for that. The experience was very positive. They were very friendly and I have recommendations from a friend who has them replaced carpet in her home and she was pleased with the work. They were courteous, professional, punctual and seemed to know what they were talking about.

Great. Alan is very responsive and professional. The guys worked over a holiday weekend to get it done on our time frame. I was unhappy with the thresholds between rooms (we matched hardwood) and Alan worked very hard to come up with alternative options at no cost to me. Turned out great.

He was great. He was very professional and did very well in following up the work. He always called to confirm the appointments and was always on top of his work. He is definitely a great worker.
