Description of Work: We needed to run a gas line into our kitchen for a new gas range. They had to run the line from our attic to the kitchen through the wall behind the range. Brooks did it fast and at a fraction of other bids we had gotten. The plumber was a total professional and a very nice man. Brooks would be our first choice if we ever have any plumbing to be done.

 + -1 moreThe plumber instantly knew when he saw the faucet that he would be unable to help me. I knew the brand of my faucet and had wished that someone had asked me this information on the front end and I could have prevented the entire service call. I called and talked to the owner, Bob Gant, about my issue. Mr. Gant constantly interrupted me on the phone and would not allow me to talk. Let's just say I don't think he would have talked to my husband the way he talked to me. He said well since you ordered your part you can install it yourself, "cool?" I said no it's not cool I have been a loyal Brooks Plumbing customer for 5 1/2 years I expected you to offer to install the part for me, especially since I had already spent $85 for about a 5 minute service call. His response was "I don't operate that way." Because of how Mr. Gant spoke to me and his lack of concern for customer satisfaction for a loyal customer, I will no longer be doing business with them.
Description of Work: There was no actual work performed. They came to fix a problem with a kitchen faucet. The plumber walked in and saw the faucet and said they cannot get parts for my brand faucet so he would be unable to help me. I could order the part directly from the manufacturer but he could not get one. After he left I called and talked to the manufacturer and ordered the correct part. I was charged $85 for his visit.

Description of Work: I live in an old house where the pipes had corroded through underneath the bathroom sink. They fixed the pipes and patched some holes in the sink so I wouldn't have to deal with that for another couple of years.

 + 0 moreW M Brooks is an excellent company. They do a thorough job and we have used them for about 22 years. The same person comes out every time and we know him personally. That is a great way to do business.
Description of Work: I had W M Brooks Plumbing come out and unstop my garbage disposal. They snaked all of our pipes up through the bathtub. They worked about an hour.

 + -1 moreOur utility bill was running unusually high. When we called them they found the problem for us and fixed it. Our bills are normal again. Also the owner came back on his own after he was paid to finish fixing our lawn to make sure it looked perfect.
