Joe was very professional from the beginning. He and his crew were punctual. They worked continuously. I had chosen lots of colors and Joe and his crew did a wonderful job with it. He realized that the trim and the door colors in some rooms did not match, so he promptly mentioned that to us and left it to us to make the decision to match them up. We did not like a color we had picked and when we asked him to change it, he changed it immediately without any complaints. Blus Sky Painting Company is great with very reasonable pricing.

They were here when they said they would be and the workers were very nice. However, they seemed to be more interested in getting the work done than paying attention to the details and the final product. I had to have them come back because they missed a spot on the ceiling, and reseal my bathroom sink because they stood on the vanity when painting, breaking the seal. I discovered someone painted over one of my phone jacks causing paint to get inside. AT&T had to replace the phone jack. I feel the actual painting was good but getting there was difficult. They did come back to paint the ceiling they missed and they fixed my sink. I would suggest a close inspection at the finish, take notes, look close and they will correct their errors. I had to pay for replacing the phone jack.

tThis was a professional job from beginning to end. Joe and an assistan showed up to evaluate, gave us a fair price, they showed up on time to paint. There was a misunderstanding about the kind of paint I wanted but he headed out to Home Depot, got the correct paint, and the crew finished up doing a wonderful job.

Crew arrived on time and like clockwork started sanding and prepping the walls. Completed the job in one day! When done, Joe told us to call him if we saw any needed touchups. We found a few, called and scheduled him to come out to do the touchups.

It went fine. The work was as good as I could've done myself.

It went very well and per expectations and what they promised to deliver. I was pleased they were able to come as planned especially as they were quite booked up and I was concerned they would need to push the job out further but that luckily didn't happen! They were consistently prompt, professional, friendly and very accommodating to be sure we were pleased with the process and the final outcome. Their crew was also prompt, professional etc and amazing as they would come first thing, ie 8am and be out and completely FINISHED before the end of the day ~ for the first job that was at about 5:30pm or so and it was a BIG painting job... And for the second paint job they were also finished COMPLETELY within the one day! AMAZING!!!! The crew doing the work was minimally disruptive to our daily life and they were understanding and accommodating to knowing my pets and children would possibly be around etc. They just worked hard the whole time I was around to observe and Jason or Joe were both available to I highly recommend them, but don't delay as they seem to be consistently busy! However, they are wiling to fit your project in whether big or small as soon as they can. We will use them in the future for sure! Thank you Joe Johnson and Jason Buchannan

The team that came to do the work was wonderful. Very efficient, professional and responsive. The work was perfect. I plan to work with them again in the near future.

This is a professional crew and they work quickly (entire job completed in less than a day). I'm completely satisfied with the job they did. I just want to relay a story. The townhouse they painted for me is a property that I rent out, and I was getting it ready for new tenants. Well, I had foolishly forgotten to have the water and power switched back to my name so they would be on for when the painters came. I called Joe and explained the problem. I figured it would be a deal-breaker -- who can paint without any lights on? I expected him to be angry with me for wasting his time. Instead Joe calmly told me that he would think up a solution and call me back. Late that same night Joe called me and told me that his crew would bring halogen lamps and a gas-powered generator to my townhouse and create their own light to paint by! Well I was impressed of course, but he was matter-of-fact like he does that for everyone as a normal part of the job. Well, I was actually able to get the power and water turned on for him myself so the lamps and generator weren't necessary in the end, but I want to emphasize that Joe and his crew are "whatever it takes to get the job done" types who are not easily deterred by obstacles. I rarely meet businessmen of Joe's integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Be aware that this crew stays very busy (for obvious reasons); you will need to contract with them well in advance of your project. But If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you too can hire the A-Team of interior painting.

Mr. Johnson was very friendly and responsive. The consultation occurred within a week, and the estimate would have been exact if I had not chosen an extra coat of paint in one area. He and his crew arrived onsite on time and completed the work in one day. I appreciated that he stayed onsite while the work was completed and supervised. The price included labor and paint. Some of the work required extra paint because the walls were previously darker colors. I chose the paint and vendor, and he picked it up. The quality of the painting was fantastic. I have not found a single blemish, and I looked! I would definitely recommend Blue Sky and will call them again for future work.

We were extremely pleased with the work that was done. They were professional, courteous and well-organized. At their suggestion, we upgraded to a better paint and are satisfied that we made a good decision. My wife was initially concerned about the project, but they made her feel at ease as they were doing the work, and the project was finished in two days to our complete satisfaction. We would definitely use them again and would recommend Blue Sky Painting to anyone.

The painting on the trim was like they did a good job but the painting on the front door was not a good job and the shutters were coming back down. We have called them a couple of times and they have even called us and said they will be out but they did not show up. I would never recommend them to anybody because half the work was good so we had no problem with that but the work that was not so good, they did not come back out to fix.

Joe was responsive when I called and came out to look at the work and provide an estimate. I got several estimates and his pricing was good, but his responsiveness was better than others I called. I decided to go with Joe. He and his crew arrived as scheduled and proceeded to get to work. Though they worked fast...all was done in one day...they worked cleanly and left absolutely no mess or issues when they were finished. Joe also worked with me to match some existing colors and he did a terrific job. I was very satisfied and will use him again.

My wife and I had several companies provide estimates for painting the exterior of our home. I also discussed with the person providing the estimate how they would perform the work, and the materials to be used, etc... Of the 5 estimates, we eliminated 2 companies because we felt they would not perform quality work. Blue Sky was one of the lower estimates of the companies, we felt would perform quality work. The other concern with our job, was the fact it was getting a bit late in the year, and could this work be completed in colder weather, etc... Joe Johnson, the owner of Blue Sky Painting, provided the estimate, and answered all of my questions. Just after Thanksgiving, Blue Sky Painting completed painting the exterior with a large crew, in a single day. We decided to ask Joe, if they could also finish out the front entry door, and Joe had one of his painters, come out the following week to complete this work. We were very happy with the work performed, and our dealings with Joe and Blue Sky Painting. They were very professional, and performed quality work for a fair price. I would highly recommend them. Our house now looks fantastic!

My husband took a couple of estimates from contracted painters from Angie's List. All of them, except Blue Sky, said that it would take at least two weeks to do the job and their prices were somewhat higher. When Joe came and did the estimate, he was extremely professional and personable. He estimated that the job would take at most 2 days because of how his team handles their work. As someone who lives in the project management world, I really appreciated his ability to stage his work without stringing out a job and keeping our house in disarray longer than necessary. He also stated when he would have an opening and could work with us on timing. The estimate for work was given within 24 hours. He gave us ample time to go to the local Sherwin Williams store to choose the paint colors needed for the walls and trim. The only prep we had to do - besides picking out the paint - was removing paintings, pictures, and any artwork from the walls. On the day of the job, he and his team of 10-12 painters showed up bright and early to start to work. When I came home that evening after 6pm, they were wrapping up the job! They moved and replaced all the furniture with a minimum amount of fuss and mess. Mu husband was tickled because the painters even took turns playing and petting our two dogs when they were brought out for potty breaks. (And my Corgi got a little longer white blaze on her tail when she happened by a not-quite-dry-wall.) He told us to let him know about any repairs/touchup work needed as soon as we could since liked to wrap things up and not leave them hanging. We found a couple of areas for touch ups and as promised, Joe came back out right away and did the work without delay. Joe and the rest of the Blue Sky Painting crew were professional and awesome to work with. I have already given their name to my teammates at work. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to contract with them in the future.

Joe Johnson & team were wonderful. Always showed up on-time, even a little early each day. Crew was professional, fast, they were in and out very quickly but completed high-quality work. Joe was on-site the entire time checking on his men. I checked periodically and pointed out any little spots I found that they missed, and they corrected them immediately. Would definitely use again. Completed walls, ceilings, and trim work. Thought price was very reasonable for all the work they did.

Joe met me and sent me a bid. After meeting him and all the great reviews, I gave them the job, they were able to fit me in within a few weeks. Jason led the crew of painters which came on time and worked hard for the day and a half they were at my house and knocked the job out. Great quality painting, the trim looks fabulous. They prepped, and cleaned up after themselves well. Very high quality outfit, you will not regret using Joe! Call early as they are very busy and get booked up far in advance.

They were very professional and did the work in the time they stated. They covered everything and put everything back where it was when they left. My father-in-law was a house painter by trade so my husband is extremely picky. He was very impressed at the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Blue Sky Painting and will use them next time the need arises!

The experience we had with him was better than one I have had with any contractor in the past. I have an older historic home that has a lot of standards that need to be meet, therefore I have hired a lot of contractors. He was absolutely fantastic. His philosophy is no worries only solutions and I appreciate this.

I liked everything about them. They did everything they said they would. They painted two coats; they moved the big furniture so I didn’t have to and put it all back. They didn’t leave a mess when they left. I already recommended them to a friend last night.

Mr. Johnson and his crew arrived in a timely fashion. They matched the paint exactly. Patched the kitchen ceiling from a plumbing leak and took care of all nail pops seamlessly. Painted the walls is 6 rooms, two halls and the master bath in one day. Amazing!!!

From estimate to starting the job to completion the process was pretty painless - in fact Joe made it sound easy I thought for sure something was going to be messed up because I had different colors and instructions for each room. I like how the cracks that develop between the trim and ceiling around mouldings get caulked and painted. The house had not been painted since it was new 8 years ago so there were settling cracks and nail pops all fixed. I did pay a little extra for one room that had excessive drywall settling cracks in corners. The only thing I had to realize was that doing your house in 2 days means every room has your stuff moved to the center and in closets and covered up. They move it back and do their best but of course the hidden parts are dirty and dust bunny like on the furniture and the walls look so nice so you have to clean everything when you put it back so be prepared for that extra work.

I had high hopes for this man based upon his reviews in Angie's List but was sadly disappointed. I called him this week and scheduled an appt. to come to my house yesterday to give me an estimate on painting several interior rooms. He told me he would be out between 4 and 5 yesterday. He never showed up and he never called. Needless to say I will not be calling him back and at this point would not trust him if he called me with some sort of an excuse. I will find someone else.

The whole process went smoothly. The quote was received within a timely manner, the work was started on time and the job was finished according to schedule. The overall value was fantastic, as other quotes were received at nearly double the price. All the painters were professional, courteous, and most importantly - LEGAL!
