Over the last 2 plus years, Regan Roofing has replaced a roof on my personal home and rental property. They offered a selection of styles and roofing systems that worked with our budget on both properties. The crew came as expected and completed the job in a timely manner. The work looked great and improved the value of my home (and rental property). Since the roof replacements, we moved to another house where we discovered a fairly severe leak on day four after move in. I called Bill at Regan Roofing the next day. He looked at the roof and had the area patched in less than 24 hours and repaired a few days later at a very fair fee. If you need a roof I confidently recommend this company. Very good. It is a bisy season for them but they worked my project into a schedule I could live with. The workers were pleasent and did the whole thing in abot 4 hours. Office staff was responsive. All in all acgood experience.

Great. Bill showed up when he said he would and was able to repair the gutters within 2 days.

They were able to quickly identify the problem and present me with options to fix it. The repair was then promptly completed for a reasonable price. The gentleman I dealt with was prompt, professional and honest. I would use them again.

It has been a distinct pleasure to work with Bill Ragan. He has just completed removal and replacement of the original 6,000+ square foot roof and 2 skylights on our home. Bill is friendly and professional with a unique hands on approach. He clearly cares deeply about the quality of his work. He personally performed the initial inspection and preparation of the proposal. He personally presented us with sample boards and then nailed samples of our top shingle choices to the roof to facilitate making a final selection. Bill welcomed any and all questions. No question was too trivial for a detailed answer. He personally inspected the completed job and cleaned the new skylights. His crew was courteous and tireless. They arrived at daybreak and left at sundown. Their DAILY cleanup was outstanding - no small feat considering that our house is surrounded by forest on 3 sides with very steep slopes. The new roof is beautiful and affords peace of mind knowing that it has been hand nailed, thereby precluding the potential problems associated with installation using pneumatic nail guns. I also want to commend Griffin, whom I consider 2nd in command after Bill on this job. He also demonstrated professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to answer any and all questions. I have no hesitation whatsoever in giving Bill Ragan my highest recommendation to anyone who seeks my opinion and advice.

I was concerned that I was going to have to buy a new roof and they assured me that the roof was fine for another 5 years and that there were other issues causing the problems we were experiencing. They gave me the quote and took care of it within a week. Great service.

Bill was great. We needed someone to inspect a roof on very short notice. Bill was out there within a few hours and gave me a full report that same day. The roof is old, but I appreciate that Bill gave me a candid assessment (that it has about 5 years left), rather than telling me it needed to be replaced now. Bill also gave me a cost estimate to replace the roof when the time comes, and he said he is happy to come out and inspect it every few years to make sure it is still intact. While he hasn't done any roofing work for us yet, we will definitely use Bill when we need a new roof or a roof repair.

CJ came over the house within a day or two of calling and scheduling. He showed up on time and was very friendly. I told him that we had a leak in our master closet on our second floor. I showed him where it was coming in and he went on the roof to access the problem. He took a few pictures with his phone and noticed a nail that had come loose from the shingle giving water a way to get under. I also told him about the skylights constantly leaking... He e-mailed a quote a few days later and I called him to set up the work date. Only 1 crew member was required, he arrived and was very prompt, did a great job, cut around the shingles on the skylights to help with the drainage and sealed the roof leak. I was very impressed with the overall service from start to finish. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again in the future. A true small business gem! A company who "gets it!"

SUMMARY: Heads and shoulders about everyone else. If I had to do another house I would not even bother calling anyone else. QUOTE: Mr. Ragan answered all questions and gave detailed answers without being a pushy salesman. Very pleasant to work with on out first meeting. Cost was within a couple of hundred of my other two quotes. After completion, I think he may have been the lowest bid by a few dollars. HAND HAMMER: Now this is very unusual. No power hammers. My brother thought he was nuts. Mr. Ragan gave me the reasons behind why he uses hand hammers. I checked it on on the web in a professional roofers forum. Every thing made sense, plus one advantage that he did not even bring up. No more nail guns for me!! VENTILATION: Asked about the best ventilation. He recommended wind turbans. I noticed a difference right away in out bonus room. SCHEDULING: Everything went as planed. LENGTH OF JOB: Since he does not use power hammers it does take twice as long. But the noise in the house was livable. CLEAN UP: Wow. I do not know how they did it. Very very good job. Very clean. WARRANTY: Just let him tell you about it. To me it was an eye opener. If you go with someone else, you really need this information. The warrante comes from the roofing supplyer, but full warrante is only good IF the roofer is certified by the supplier!!

short version -- these guys are extraordinary! long version -- i had major storm damage and missing shingles from several storms over the last couple of years, but the storm in spring, 2014, was the worst and did the most damage. finally the roof looked so bad that i was almost afraid to leave the house for fear it would rain and i wouldn't be there to check whether it was leaking or not. the house was built in 1994, and i bought it in 2001, and i was pretty sure that the original roof had never been replaced. taking a deep breath first, i made a list of several roofing companies based on the reviews on angie's list. bill ragan roofing had by far the best reviews, so i called them first. i also called four other companies too, tho, just so i could get a feel for pricing and possible logistical hassles. the guy from bill ragan roofing, joe enriguez, came out very promptly -- within a few days, as i remember. he went up on the roof, checked out the damage, and said he thought i would have to have a new roof, that it was not feasible just to repair the damaged parts. mr. enriguez worked up an estimate of approx $7,400. this included taking off the old roof completely, replacing all of the shingles with architectural shingles that carry a warranty for as long as i own the house and as long as the first subsequent buyer owns the house, reflashing the chimney, putting ice/water shields in all of the valleys, removing and replacing the vents on the top ridge of the roof, and -- practically the most important part to me -- cleaning up everything when they were thru. i talked with representatives of the other roofing companies i had called, and some were close in terms of the materials used, but no one had the combination of superior materials and warranty that i wanted. so even tho bill ragan roofing was not the least expensive, i had the most confidence in them. i called my insurance company (state farm, which was terrific in their claim servicing, by the way), and they sent out an estimator. mr. enriguez agreed to be here on the day the estimator came in case there were any Qs. after taking into account my $1,000 deductible, state farm gave me a total estimate for payment of approx $4,250. the difference between the estimate from bill ragan roofing and that of state farm was accounted for, i think, by the fact that they were going to be using a higher quality of shingles, plus i had asked for a warranty that was longer than the typical 20 years. so, including the $1,000 deductible i paid, my total out-of-pocket expense was approx $3,150. i consider that a reasonable price for what i got -- a worry-free roof probably for the rest of my life (i am 68), or at minimum until i sell the house. everyone i worked with was courteous, conscientious, and thorough. we had to delay the work slightly because of rain, but the actual installation took only two days, i believe (maybe two and a half). the house looks exponentially better. best of all, i have not found one nail, one shingle, one anything, since they were here. it was one of the most thorough cleanup jobs i have ever been privileged to have for work on my house. mr. enriguez was truly a pleasure to work with. he answers his phone, responds to e-mails, and tells the truth about everything. his time estimates were exactly correct. the only hitch i had -- but this was not the fault of bill ragan roofing -- was that after the roof was done, it took a couple of months, and some prompting by me -- to get the paperwork from GAF that describes the warranty. however, it eventually came, and i've put it with all of the other warranties and house info, so that if i sell the house, it will be there for the next owner. i recommend bill ragan roofing absolutely, without hesitation.

I found Bill Ragan Roofing on Angie's List and the recommendations there led me to call for an estimate. Bill called the same day to set up an appointment. Over the course of a week, he walked the roof, brought by shingle samples, explained the difference between manufacturers and sent me a reasonable estimate for materials and labor (for roofing, skylight repair, vent replacements and adding a ridge vent.) He inspected my gutters and told me they were fine, even though I expected to have to replace them. The crew showed up on time and was respectful of our property. Unfortunately, rain showers cut short the work day but they still managed to get everything done in 2.5 days. The crew replaced many rotting boards while they worked (at a pre-arranged price per board) so they didn't have to stop the work flow to ask permission. The yard and surrounding area were left cleaner than when they got here. Bill came out to inspect the job and go over my warranty with me. He's an absolute joy to work with and I will recommend him to anyone needing roof work. It's not often you meet a dedicated, friendly professional of this caliber. A joy to work with.

The flashing looks great. I think Jacob and team finally stopped the leaks that I have had the original roofer back to try and fix twice. I also had a chimney company waterproof the chimney trying to get the leaks stopped- that didn't work. Not only did they fix the leaks, but Jacob did a great job matching the new flashing to the old flashing what runs along the roof line. I am really happy with the work they did. They were also professional and responsive. Thank you, Bill, Jacob, and team!

Excellent, offered a written quote but sitting and talking with him, just decided to go ahead with it. Bill was true to his word, he told me there were a couple of other potential areas that they would correct now to make sure there was no future problems and that his guys would do a thorough check when they came. Bad weather held up everything for about ten days but he kept in contact and when his team arrived to correct everything, by the time they had finished - his 6 - 8 items had grown significantly but they were all preventative measures and I was not charged above the original quote. It is good to find people who keep their word and do not add on extra charges after the fact. You will not go wrong by using Bill Ragan roofing. i will recommend him to people I know and in my line of work (real estate), it is good to have someone like Bill that i can recommend with confidence.

Shingles were replaced properly. Nail holes were sealed on existing shingles. Job was clean and materials removed from site.

I liked them. They were pretty responsive for roofers. The price included everything.
