This auto company told me that my car needed over $1200.00 worth services. They said that power control modueaito sal was defective and needed to be replaced. Luckily, I did not have them complete this service because it turned out it was just the battery. Another company told me I only needed a new battery and I've had no problems sine.

Ran out of gas and filled up and car was running bad. My prior experience with this lead me to believe it was a fouled plug or clogged injector (from bad gas at bottom of tank). Was having other bumper work done on vehichle down the street and asked them to send it to their partner (Autotech) for simplicity. Called ahead to let the tech know what happened and what i thought it was in which he explained he thought it needed a new head ($2600) as he has had several of those recently. He performed a "diagnostic" for $95+tax and said it had low compression and needed a new head. I told him i would take it to my normal mechanic. Normal mechanic said - the plug was fouled and needed a dose of oil because the gas had rinsed off the side of the cylinder, making the pressure drop (if you know anything about vehicles you know the piston has a ring on it which slides within the cylinder but there is a small gap between the ring and the cylinder - the oil "closes that gap" allowing for proper pressure when firing". Total cost of fixing: $80 plus the $95 for a bad mechanic. Called back to Auto tech to explain that I felt the diagnosis did not take into account what i explained to him and that he should refund the $95 as he gave me bad recommendations. In which case he argued with me and would not provide a refund unless i bring the car back to him so he can check the pressure again. I will not let him touch this car again. Beware when someone knows the problem is an expensive fix rather than trying the easy stuff first. I guess i need to dispute the charge with the credit card company next.

They’ve been really good. They were efficient and had good value for their price. They get things done pretty quickly and they were friendly.

I spent about $2000. It is not the best price but it is fair. Overall, I am very satisfied with the company. Their price is fair compared to that of a dealer. The name of the head guy is Neil. When I drop my car off, he usually goes for the ride with me to make sure he understands what the problem is. He rides with me again when I go to pick up my car to ensure that the problem is taken care of and I am satisfied with the work. I will use this company again in the future.

Our experience was a positive one. We felt the office staff and mechanic were honest and forthcoming with all information. The owner/mechanic was extremely knowledgeable and seemed trustworthy.
Description of Work: I had gotten an estimate from Volkswagen suggesting I replace the radiator and CV joints. Within a week of my visit to Volkswagen, my air conditioner stopped working. Since their estimate was expensive, I took my car to Autotech. They replaced the CV joints. However, not only did they find that my radiator did not need to be replaced, but they found multiple leaks in my engine. Moreover, he found that my air conditioning problem was complicated and expensive. The mechanic suggested many cost-saving measures to replace the air conditioner and repair the engine. In the end, however, we decided to trade the car.

Autotech explained how the top operation worked and discussed how they would methodically evaluate each system They systemically diagnosed the problems, discussed my options with me. We agreed on a plan and they performed flawlessly. They really care about the customers satisfaction thats why they are very much in demand.

It cost more than they said it would and they were not very nice about reducing the price. I did not feel like they were completely forthcoming.

They provided the service in a short time for a reasonable price. They even reversed quite a bit of bad work that had been done by two previous mechanics. We payed first rate price for first rate service.
Description of Work: They provided major engine repairs on my son's Volkswagon Jetta.
