He messed up the roof two different times. The roof leaked both times, the skylight was installed improperly and they leaked too, roofing material was done improperly, and work site was left messy. He never hauled away the debris or cleaned up from the job. The inspector came by on February 24th and said that the steps were done wrong, did not install an inner rail on the existing rail and there was not enough grade on the roof and there was not supposed to be shingles on it. Andrew claims that the inspector told him he could build the roof a certain way (he had the rafters laying on top of our existing roof). Andrew came back and took off the shingles and put a rolled roof (which also leaked). We told Andrew not to come back in March. I e-mailed Andrew March 15th and let him know that I didn't appreciate him doing this to us and we wanted part of our money back (for the issues with the roof so that we could pay to have the work done correctly). We had to rip out the skylights because he laid them in the roof and they were plastered with caulk. We now have hired another contractor to fix that work. We've tried contacting him and he is now avoiding us- engaging in delay tactics and putting us off. We've requested that he contact us to discuss part refund on this project.

Used bubble wrap to replace the insulation around pipes. Shower not screwed to walls, it fell off. Toilet not fitted to sewer pipe. He used a plastic bag to close the gap. Did not hook up air vent. Something was not set right and cracked. He left pipes leaking behind the walls. He removed drywall then refused to repair it. He used my tools and equipment while I was at work, and left them dirty. Dumped cement in my yard. And lots more !!
