Description of Work: I have a annual maintenance contract with American Heating and Cooling. While I was unable to be at home at the time of the service, my 90 year old mother was there to let them perform the service. American Heating and Cooling "up sold" my mother $158.00 worth of filters. Felt she was taken advantage of a bit and I called and spoke with service manager. Got an apology. Still leaves a bad taste.

+ -1 moreMr. Mike Hart has been performing maintenance checks on my equipment for years. He is always on time, takes his time to make sure it is done right and is very polite. Takes his shoes off and cleans up after himself. American Heating as a company has treated me fairly from day one. I would recommend them for all heating and A/C needs. The $194 paid is a prepayment to perform maintenance on two units in the Spring and Fall of calendar year 2007.
Description of Work: Fall maintenance check: performs various safety and operational checks of two heating and cooling units. Cleaned equipment as required.

Description of Work: They investigated why the air conditioner wasn't cooling my bedroom. They found a leak so they replaced a part.
