Easily the most disreputable business I have ever done business with. The most dishonest owner, Robert Martinez, I've ever encountered in any business relationship. He has a pathological inability to take responsibility for his and his people's work. Sample: Me: "Robert, there are scussions missing in the master bath." Robert: "We put them in. Somebody must have taken them." Me: "Robert, the home inspector found a misalignment between the new sewer line you laid and the existing iron or clay sewer line." Robert: "He's incompetent and doesn't know what he's talking about." Me: "Robert, the main path sinks are leaking from the drain underneath." Robert: "Those are lousy sinks. We asked him to do work that he had contracted to do or to redo work that was not done professionally and he would lie about having done it when we were both standing in front of the actual work not done. He even went so far as to suggest that our framers moved a line of PVC pipe (angles and all) that he had improperly installed in the wrong place. It was like having a discussion with a 7-year old. On a $12,000 job he would add visit charges of $120 to his invoice to come to the house to supervise the job. He was belligerent to other contractors on the project. His people were nice but worked to a sub-par standard by even a lay-person's eye.
