Called me almost immediately to schedule the repair and was able to come early to see which parts we needed for our older range. He came the next day with the parts and fixed it quickly. It was expensive but I have found that appliance repairs almost always are.

I would absolutely hire Advantage 1 again and reccomend them to anyone looking for appliance repair! Friendly guys, quick response time (they fit me in same day), and clear communication. They were willing to work with me on price since I had a few appliances that needed some attention and were honest about whether sometihng was worth fixing or replacing. It felt like I was trying to move heaven and earth just to get them out to my house to look at my dryer. And when I finally did get them out they told me that it was not a mechanical problem, and that I had to hire a vent cleaning business. Vent cleaning business comes out and looks at it, and says vents are clean and good to go, and there is definitely a problem with the dryer. Flash forward almost 2 weeks, and I finally get another technician to come out, he is rude, late, unprofessional, A terrible communicator, hesitant to check everything that he possibly could to ensure that my dryer does not have any additional problems, and when we finally do fix it and he gets everything put back together, leaves while I am trying to get the dryer back in place and clean up the bathroom that it is in. The only way I knew he left is because I heard him peel out of the driveway while I was walking out to talk to him. All in all, AVOID THIS COMPANY.

We hired Appliance 1 to fix our washing machine, they were an hour and a half late getting to our house. They did call to tell me they were going to be late, but they waited until 5 minutes before the window closed to call me. They showed up, and did the repair and when I signed the repair invoice they told me they have a 30 day labor and parts warranty. That night when we ran our washing machine, that they repaired, my son comes running upstairs yelling that water was all over the floor. The hose in the back of the washing machine was not secure and water was everywhere. My husband called them today to discuss what happened and they accepted NO responsibility for the water. They stated they left it the way they found it, but yet said they asked me for towels because the hose came out on them when they were testing it. Of course, they did not tell me this when I handed them the towels, I just thought when they fixed it, they got water on the floor, I do not repair washing machines for a living, that is why I hired them. Our laundry room floor is wet, and the wood is coming up, and now our basement ceiling has a leak. And they do not want to accept any of the responsibility? When they knew the hose came out on them? Does not it seem like they should have thought to do something to prevent the hose from coming out again? Labor warranty? I think not. We would have been fine paying for parts, but we should not have to pay for labor when them not paying attention caused us to have spend more money getting the water up from our basement ceiling. We are not unreasonable people. But we expect good customer service, and a quality job. We will NEVER use them again!

This organization is the best I have ever worked with. They are prompt, extremely competent and an absolute pleasure to work with. I had to call them out to fix an issue that another vendor screwed up on my clothes washer. It is not easy to come in and fix someone else's incompetence. However Jay did a great job. He was empathic to my plight and he fixed the problem and even went a step further to make sure that everything was working. KUDOS to this company.

This was a positive experience. The technician, Charles, phoned right away. I told him the issue, that the heating element in my dryer had failed. He requested the model number and stated he’d call back with the estimate. Charles called back with a figure, I authorized the repair. Charles arrived at the designated time. He checked out the issue, and within about an hour, the dryer was back in order.
