This pro tried to pressure me into paying him $1200 via the Cash App for 40 mins of work which ended up not fixing our issue. When I refused, he said he would take $500 instead. He said he was sending me an invoice that I never got. He also told me that I would not be charged by Angi's, but my husband set up a pre-paid service, and we have also been charged an additional $634 through Angi's. The "Pro" cannot be reached by phone. This company was clearly not vetted properly and is a complete scam. We are hopeful that Angi's will honor their guarantee and refund what they charged us. I was pressured into paying via the Cash App, so we are out that $500 and can't get it back.
Description of Work: Our A/C was short-cycling (rapidly turning on and off). It's been serviced by multiple reputable companies and we were getting another opinion. Our "pro" said the system was wired incorrectly and that he re-wired it. But we can't be sure what he actually did. The system is still short-cycling.
