I don't normally write bad reviews. My first recourse would always be to try to reason with the service provider, and then cut ties if needed. I guess it's the fact that I couldn't technically fire the crew, though they were hands-down the least professional and amateur yard crew I've ever had the dishonor to work with, is what really pushed me over the edge. I would have fired them after the very first visit, when they drove up unannounced and I first knew they were there because I was breastfeeding my young baby on our 3-acre lot, only to look up and see two guys leering at me through the window. They hadn't started working yet, they were just standing there, grinning. Things just went downhill from there. The crew is a fan of flat-topping crepe myrtle trees (and, indeed, anything that they can get their trimmers on), which means that out of the half dozen we had last fall, pretty and full, we have exactly zero to look at anymore - they "crepe murdered" them right before the big frost and not one has ever budded again. The dead sticks just hang out, sticking up in the yard, which I guess saves them work. Many, many other plants have met similar fates. On top of that, they never let you know when they are coming so you can prepare in any way. For example, if they are cutting limbs, it would be nice to know so that you can move your car. Well, they didn't bother to ring the doorbell, just started right up, right on top of our months-old car. If we hadn't been there to intervene, I suspect they would have continued unphased. They showed up at 7 a.m. on a Saturday one day, Tuesday evening another. I called the owner numerous times to ask him to simply notify us before the crew showed up, or at least pick a regular day/time, but he never even bothered to call me back. They "weeded" the herb garden we planted, pulling out normal herbs like fennel, rosemary and sage (the only things we had planted), and leaving all kinds of weeds behind, on the other side of the bed. I am a pretty even-keel person, but at this point, even spotting the logo on the side of the truck is enough to put me in a bad mood. I can't wait until we move into our newly-bought house where we can hire some professional lawn care help and leave this nightmare crew behind!

Would not show regularly to do service perhaps hoping I wouldn't notice. Frequently didn't answer the phone. Frequently didn't respond to messages. Procrastinated in completing work until it would be forgotten. Once I cancelled the service they even came and fertilized by accident which almost caused my lawn to be over fertilized by my new contractor. Disorganized and poor communicators. When they did do the work it was average quality.
