ABSOLUTE WATERPROOFING & DRAINAGE

I liked everything about them. They are an excellent company for what they do. They had 4 people working in the crawl space which was about 3 feet high, digging the ditch, laying the pipe and filling it with 10 tons of crushed limestone all leading to a sump pump. Any water now goes through the foundation to that ditch and is now pumped out. I've never written a check to anyone that I thought was more deserving. They would leave at the end of the day and it was spotless and I didn't even know they had been here. I couldn't recommend them enough to anybody that would have a water problem. They were wonderful. They are a great company. I had a couple of other estimates.

This has been the best service experience I have ever had with any company, no question. Byron and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Byron presented all of his credentials upon arrival, and he and his crew always treated us and our home with the greatest consideration. I can honestly say that we kind of missed them when the job was complete. Going the extra mile is something Byron does routinely. As for the solution to our drainage issues, it quickly became apparent that we were working with a very knowledgeable company. Byron takes pride in the effectiveness of his drainage and moisture solutions. For the first few weeks the sump pump activated regularly, discharging all of the accumulated moisture that had built up over a long period. Now, it only has to kick on just a bit after heavy rains. We are resting much easier knowing the problem has finally been corrected.

Owners are incredibly nice and honest. He spent time with us, looked at drainage issues, climbed up on our roof and cleaned the gutter while he was up there!! But told us to try some other things before investing in drainage work. Very helpful hints in the basement. I would absolutely recommend this business.

Very professional - I could not engage with them at the time, but hope to in the future

for a 2nd opinion I called Absolute Waterproofing and Byron the owner came out on time for my appointment, before he got there his office called the day before and several hours before to confirm and let me know he was on the way, he was right on time. Byron was very professional and toured my basement and walked around my house and inspected everything. Byron told me that the issue was with my gutter size and downspouts, I have old 4" gutters and need 6" gutters and also my gutters where not "crowned" in the middle and not draining all the water during heavy rains, there was evidence of overflowing, it was Byron's professional judgment that new properly sized and installed gutters would solve my problem, and that there was not a need for a basement waterproofing contractor or a sump-pump system at all. I was impressed with Byron's knowledge and professionalism, I could tell he knew his craft. He said there was no reason to sell me something that I did not need. I would definitely use Absolute Waterproofing if I ever do have a need for their service! I trust them!

Absolutely the best home repair crew I have ever been around! I got the impression that I was watching a man working on his own home. Never any mess left at end of day over a three day period. I have complete confidence in the honesty and competence of Byron and his company! My home was left looking far better even in areas that were not part of the contract.

They were obviously very busy but made an appointment and showed up on time. I was very impressed with the owner's professionalism and knowledge,Ultimately we decided against doing anything but I would call them again.

I called and spoke with Teresa at length. She was extremely helpful, however they were booked solid for several months and I needed a more immediate solution. I'll definitely keep them in mind for future work, and based on my experience on the phone, would recommend them to others.

It was great. The guy that came out was really super. He was really nice. He helped me out and showed me some things too which was good. He was great.

My service from Absolute Waterproofing & Drainage was okay. We haven't had any water damage since then, but we haven't really had any major weather events that would test that theory.

They were good. I would give him A's all the way across. I meant to put something on the website for him. He was very thorough and professional. He went under the house, under the crawl space and quickly diagnosed a couple of problems.

Someone else had guarded some work down there and then they quit and left me hanging and Absolute found out that what they had done was not going to work. Where the barrier went up the walls it wasn't adhering. The stuff was coming off the wall and leaking so they redid all of that. And they fixed up a fridge drain and they tied all of the gutters to this drainage system so it drained out in to the yard. They did a lot of work. The fellow that did owned the company his name is Byron Lowe. He came out and he looked it all over and explained what needed to be done, he drew out everything and I thought he was really professional. He couldn't come back to do the final checks because he was having some medical problems and so he had a guy that was in charge of the crew and they checked it all over. I'm happy with everything. The only thing I wasn't happy about and I could have asked them to do, but didn't, was if I couldn't get out of the house to look at things, I wanted to be able to look at it through the access door under the house. It would have been nice if they had taken pictures for me to see what they have done. But I've had people go into the house to do work since then, like plumbers and so on, and they said Absolute did an excellent job under there.

It could not have gone better. Byron came when it was raining and did a thorough inspection of our property to identify where the water was coming from and where it was going. His estimate for the project was timely and reasonable. The project was completed on time allowing for a rain delay. His crew was friendly, professional and very conscientious about minimizing the impact on our property from use of their machinery. They not only cleaned up the work areas (immaculately I might add) at the end of each day, they did it during the day whenever they moved from one area to the next. The solution Byron came up with was different than the other bids proposals. It was less invasive and has worked very effectively. We have had several heavy rains since the project was completed and no resulting problems. They have a tremendous customer service attitude. What we anticipated to be a nightmare experience turned out to be an enjoyable process. We highly recommend them based upon our experience.

The interactions with Teresa and Byron were very professional and satisfying. Byron called after the job to answer all my questions. They were very good at staying in contact. They were very punctual, the estimates and work were done when they were scheduled. They left with things looking better than before they started. The materials used were high quality and so was the workmanship. We have had one good rain since and the system worked --- we have not had any frog chokers but it looks like the problems were solved with a very direct and simple solution. I began with an engineer to get advice on a foundation shift and the drainage problem. The engineer did not have any good recommendations for quality drainage work done at a fair price. I do, any future needs I will call Byron and Teresa at Absolute Waterproofing and Drainage.

The owner showed up on time and was very professional. He made several suggestions on how I could solve my wet basement problems without spending a lot of money. He stayed the better part of an hour and even helped me determine if my gutters were stopped up. He didn't charge a dime. I followed his suggestions and spent less than $100. I now have a dry basement.

I can't say enough great things about Byron, his team, and his wife Teresa who takes phone calls and sets up appointments. Super, super people who did a fantastic job. Byron really knows his stuff. He is very particular and even had his team picking out errant straw from our bushes. He bids the job for a fair price and doesn't charge more. He is very busy, but worth waiting for. They will fit you in as best they can. Our water issues were completely solved and the crawl space hasn't had any water with big rains.

I had a problem with drainage in the front yard. When it rained hard, the sidewalk had so much standing water that I had to get my feet wet to get to the driveway or yard. After calling for an estimate, they arrived promptly and went to work trying to figure out what the problem was. I had an estimate in my hands a couple of days later. I had to wait to get on their calendar. They ARE the best, so they are worth waiting for!

They were very professional. They offered me several options, completed the work on time, and it seems to have fixed the problem.

As the rest of reviews make clear, Byron and Teresa are fantastic. Byron arrived at the designated time and told me absolutely everything I needed to do to keep water from getting into my crawlspace. We stood outside in a cold, driving rainstorm for at least 45 minutes while he showed me exactly what needed to be done. At the end of the consultation he did not even charge me for his time. The information he gave me saved me thousands of dollars by giving me direction and allowing me to do the work myself. I did everything he told me would help and, after a few weekends of work and a few hundred dollars of cement, mortar and pipe, I have had no further issues. Thanks Byron! You're the best!

I called Absolute because my exterminator said there was standing water under my house in my crawlspace.

Byron came out to give a quote for running the downspouts on the front of the house, underground and out into the yard. He thoroughly explained what would be down, how it would be done and with what types of products. On the day of install, everything was done just as he said. I was informed by Absolute Waterproofing on the progress of the install at intervals during the day. At the end of the install, everything was done just as Byron had said on the day of the quote.

They were very straightforward and honest about assessing our issues with water in the basement and whether or not they could be of service. Offered to refer an HVAC man to help and gave us pointers to address with our roofers.
