We feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Byron and Teresa and are emphatic in our recommendation of their services. In our experience since moving to the area, we have yet to work with people who are so professional and skilled at their craft, yet ultimately concerned about the overall welfare of their clients and treat you as though you are a member of the family. When additional issues were discovered with our gutters and roof, whereas others may have given a referral and said "good luck", Byron personally assisted us in our search and interacted with the contractors to ensure that our best interests were always paramount.

The owner's wife took my call and scheduled the appointment. The owner arrived on time and assessed my problems. He had a great attitude, vast experience, excellent workmanship, and corrected all of the problems at a great price. I could not have had a better experience. Superb!

Teresa and Byron Lowe are great folks with which to work. They were patient with me as I had many concerns and asked many questions. Byron visited several times and developed more than one proposal. When I finally committed to the project, they scheduled me as quickly as posssible. Byron and his crew were friendly, professional and worked very hard. Each day they cleaned up the work area. At the conclusion of the project, they left my yard looking better than it did at the start.. Byron and his crew did a first class job. I got real value for what I paid.

We noticed two areas in our basement storage unit that were leaking yesterday morning and upon checking Angie's List, called Absolute Waterproofing based on their exemplary reviews. We could not have made a better decision! Upon calling Absolute Waterproofing, I spoke with Teresa (co-owner of the business) and explained the situation. Teresa was very courteous and understanding and was able to schedule us for the same day. Forty five minutes later, Byron (the other co-owner) of the business was at our door. He was very professional and upon looking at the damage surveyed the exterior of the house and noticed one of our downspouts had fallen off, causing the water to seep into the basement. However, whereas many companies would have said you need to contact a gutter company, Byron went back to his truck and found some supplies and fixed the downspout with silicone and screws so that it would not fall off again (it had not been secured properly previously). While fixing the downspout, we had a great conversation and he recommended an inexpensive fix to waterproof the areas of the basement that had water damage as well as some preventative measures to ensure the problem did not occur again. After he had finished, we noticed another downspout on the far side of the house that had not been installed properly either, which he proceeded to fix as well. In this day in age, it is extremely rare to find someone whose primary concern is the welfare of their customer. We feel very fortuitous to have met Teresa and Byron and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of similar services.

They did an unbelievably EXCELLENT and professional job. When the guy came to do the estimate, I could tell that he cared more about doing good work than anything else. I got estimates from several companies, but these were the only ones I felt confident about. THis company was so booked with jobs, I had to wait 8 months, and that told me they had to be good. They were worth waiting for. Came on time, did the work neatly, professionally, cleaned up afterward. It seemed like a big chunk of money to spend, but I'd been told my house flooded during heavy rains for previous tenants. So I spent the money. Then came the big Nashville Flood of 2010. I was out of town and worried what I would find when I got back as many in my neighborhood had severe damage. Not a thing happened to my house. The neighbors came over later and said, you were so smart to have that drainage put in. The flood put it to the test. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

The weekend before they came a tree trimming service removed several trees and left a huge load of mulch. When Byron came with his crew, he immediately said that they would spread they mulch. He said, "We like to do a little extra." I was stunned by how nice a job they did spreading the mulch and how much work it was! And everything with the main job went well also. The crew was very nice and professional. I felt a strong level of trust in Byron and the whole crew. I would highly recommend them.

Thank you Angie's List! Everyone at Absolute is spectacular! The cost of the system was more than reasonable and much less than another quote I received. The other quote included french drains along the whole inside of the crawl space and 3 sides of the garage. The real test will be the first rainfall of about 1.5". If this system works, as I believe it will, I will have saved thousands of dollars over the other quote I received. The guys doing the work put down plastic sheeting in my garage to keep the area clean. They had to move some decorative gravel along our house to put in the discharge pipe and replaced the gravel to just the way it had been. They used a hole already drilled in my foundation for the discharge pipe. They truly take pride in their work and really want the customer to be happy. Once I get new gutters, I am going to have them come back and put on a down spout drainage system and level some of the yard so I don't have large puddles after it rains. At that time they'll tie the sump pump drainage into the down spout drainage and drain it into the creek in out back yard. All of this work and the work I had just done will cost less than the other quote I received for just the french drains and sump pump. This is the type of company I joined Angie's List to find. I'm not sure I would have found them without Angie's List. It could have saved my thousands. I will try to update this review after the first big rain. UPDATE: I had a little water still getting into the garage after a heavy rainfall. Absolute came out and did some more work, at no cost to me. It now looks like I have a water free garage. I think Absolute was committed to solving my water problem and would do anything to fix it, at their original quoted cost. After all of the contractors I've dealt with, this is certainly one of the best.

They did a really good job. They did the work over a period of a couple of months. They did the initial work in about a week. Then they had to wait a couple of months for the underside of my house to dry out and they came and finished the work. I would definitely use them again.

They are very reliable, responsive, and always answer my calls and questions. They are very thorough when they are on the job.

I called two companies with good Better Business Bureau histories to estimate this job. One of them said they couldn't do it because they could not get their equipment to the place in our yard where the work was needed. Absolute said that they could, and gave a very thorough estimate and desciption of the work to be done, with a sketch. The day they showed up to do the work was over 100 degrees. The area to be worked had an unused, unmortared brick patio which they had to remove in order to do the work; they stacked the bricks neatly along one wall of our carport. The dug a fairly deep trench along the side of a carport, along the perimeter of two sides of the house, into which they put drainage tubes and covered with lava-type rocks. The carport and house downspouts were tied into the drain. They covered the dirt with seed and straw. A few days later, they even called back to warn me that rain was in the forecast and that they had noticed my gutters needed cleaning out. They offer a transferable warranty, which is a good selling point to prospective buyers of the house. The job was first rate from start to finish. My crawlspace is dry.
