A & H Flooring

Here I am 1 year later having to fix his problem for a third time. Floors still did not match. Come to find out my new flooring guy tested the wood and A&H used a mix of red and white oak when I paid for white oak. These guys are CROOKS!!!! I have been trying to contact Angel and he is unresponsive as usual.

Paid multiple thousands of dollars to install hardwood in my hallway and bedroom. They were done at two separate times, and the bedroom did not match the hallway. I asked them to follow the exact same color staining as previously done, but was ignored. I’ve Expressed my dissatisfaction and contacted the owner for a remedy, but have been completely ignored. Would NOT recommend or hire again. BEWARE.

High quality service in every way. Thrilled with the outcome. Angel and his team started on Wed and finished on Fri. Refinished the upstairs of our home and patched a difficult gap in the hallway from a wall remodeling project. The floors are Brazilian cherry, and Angel found a solution, stripped the wood by hand, including the handrails, restrained and polished to look like dark walnut. Stunning results. Every other contractor told us it was impossible to convert cherry to a walnut look (that it would always appear red); but not with Angel. It is absolutely perfect. Wow!

Angel and team did a great job. The courteous and professional work was done on time and true to the quote. We had hardwood removed, new hardwood installed, carpet replaced, and stairs converted to hardwood from carpet. They were able to match the stain to the new floors and were very detail oriented with the installation, finishing, and the clean up.

Angel and his crew went above and beyond in installing our floors. Their prices were reasonable and they respected the living area. No damage and the floors are beautiful. Also, completed on time. Highly recommend.

Angel is amazing to work with. He's the nicest guy and you can tell that he strives to do the best job possible. We had a floor in our house that was half 1940's original oak and half new oak that we laid ourselves. It never matched and the finish on it was looking rough after so much time. So we got these guys to come in and they made the newer side look incredible and worked so hard to get it to blend with the old oak (which is VERY VERY difficult!) We could not be more pleased with the job they did, their price, punctuality, dependability...A's all across the board from us!

Angel was very professional. His colleagues/workers were excellent - prompt, courteous, and professional. The final product was excellent. There were a few things keeping this from being a perfect review. We failed to discuss having the quarter rounds and the risers of the stairs caulked, spackled and painted. There are stain marks left on my base boards throughout. And a small area of the stairs were nicked by the sander. Angel hasn't yet brought extra stain by yet. Despite these, the floors and the stars looking amazing.

A and H did a fantastic job! The charges were very reasonable. The work was excellent! The team was very respectful of our house. They did a fantastic job of clean up. I will use them again.

Our floors are beautiful. Selection and price were very competitive. Angel and his staff showed up when they said they would for every appointment and every day of the installation. Their workers are polite and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace or have hardwood installed.

Angel and his workers did a total demolition, installation and refinishing of our hardwood floors. His cost estimate was fair and reasonable. The workers were unbelievably skilled and professional and the wok was completed in a very timely manner. We are extremely pleased with the final result.

From the initial contact to the final day of the floor refinishing project at my home, Angel Hernandez was friendly and professional. Mr. Angel kept all time-agreed-upon appointments from start to finish. He was easy to talk to, answered all questions, was easy to contact, and he returned calls/texts promptly. When there was a small change in my home project (I.e., less floor area refinished), Mr. Angel adjusted the price downward, a thought that had not entered my mind. I certainly was impressed with his honesty and integrity. Too, A & H Flooring workers were polite and worked efficiently. Amazing! I discovered that I had original 1970s flooring under my existing floor but there was some water damage, broken planks and concrete filled in where there was once a wall. Other companies looked at my floors and basically ran the other way. They were very professional and confident that they could get the job done! They laced in new wood with the old and once finished, you couldn't even tell the new from the old! They did an exceptional job and I'll be calling them again for future jobs!

Excellent the floors look better now than when they where new. We built the 18 years ago so we can make the comparison. We can also honestly say we did not have the problems we had to deal with when floors were originally installed. The refinishers were very professional true craftsmen and very courteous.

The service from Angel Hernandez and his entire crew was outstanding from start to finish! They provided me a detailed estimate, confirmed exactly what we wanted to do, explained their process and scheduling and then delivered everything with a beautiful result. This is not an easy project and requires a total disruption to your home due to moving furniture and so forth, but A & H was incredibly accommodating (even with a bit of bad weather in the mix). We were also "matching" some existing hardwood flooring that was last refinished in 2012 and they did a wonderful job of testing and matching the color, sheen and overall result. It is absolutely beautiful. I recommend A & H and, in fact, plan to have them back for renovations to another portion of our house very soon!
