After initial Deposit ($1000.00) on 23 MARCH 2018, we signed the contract between Whitehorse Carpentry and Homeowner David Hagan. Contract stated the completion date (including Punch list) would be not-later-than 4 May 2018. On 3 JUNE 3018, after substantial installation of all boxes, doors and drawers, Hagan paid the remaining $6500 to Whitehorse, with Mutually-agreed-upon Retainage amount of $300 (for additional cabinet that was added AFTER Contract); Whitehorse agreed to COMPLETE ALL Punch List the following week (not later than 10 JUNE 2018); Not done! Regrettably, Whitehorse has yet to complete the punch list that includes 1) exposed nails on corners of doors & drawers - Poor Paint finish where wood grain is still visible; 2) Corner cabinet doors poorly fitted and will not latch; 3) Some of the Hardware pulls are installed unlevel; 4) Missing shelf in Corner Base Cabinet; 5) White overspray on Black cabinet hardware; 6) Toe-kicks wave in-and-out by as much as 1-1/2 inches (1/4 inch thick without adequate reinforcement) - photo was provided to Whitehorse PRIOR TO the wood floor installation. Whitehorse has made more than 10 trips to resolve the punch list items, the last of which was scheduled on on 6 August 2018 for 13 August 2018 @ 8 AM; he eventually arrived around 4 PM and left apprx 5:30 PM stating he was going to have "Catalyzed" paint mixed the NEXT DAY and would return to "Brush apply" on doors & drawers (originally were finished with Sprayed Lacquer). After another week passed with NO UPDATE, Hagan sent text inquiring of Paint mix status, Whitehorse responded he would be there on Wednesday, 22 August 2018; however, on Wednesday, he texted he would come Thursday; Hagan again requested a 30 minutes notice, via text or voice, to have gate and home unlocked since we now have Final Inspection & Permanent Locks on home w/ considerable Personal items moved in after so many delays, we do NOT leave home unlocked. Whitehorse has lost ALL CREDIBILITY after 3 months beyond Contract Completion date and so many missed appointments/ schedules. After weeks of procrastination, Whitehorse offered to: -Paint; all doors and drawer fronts, moulding and finish components to be touched up with catalyzed touch up paint;
