They were excellent with landscaping design and installation. Their maintenance department however is less that attentive to details. They are very expensive and definitely not worth the money. They do not respond to issues when grass is dying or trees and bushes are not thriving. That's when you need help and that is when they are scarce. I had to end my contract and find another provider and all the companies that I interviewed commented on the lack of attention to my lawn/yard.

The first time I used them, it went wonderfully. I was very pleased with the outcome and have very much enjoyed the landscaping results. So I wanted some more things done this fall and I called to schedule it. The woman who takes care of the residential accounts, plans and oversees the work made an appointment to come by the next day to see what I wanted done and she never showed up and never called me back to say why. I waited all day for her. This sort of treatment is totally uncalled for and unprofessional. I would have gladly rescheduled if there was a problem for her getting there but to just drop someone and ignore them says that they don't care if they have your business so I used someone else for the work.

I hired this company because they came highly recommended from several of my friends as being the top residential landscape design and installation contractor in the area. They DO know their stuff. It is no wonder they are so high in demand. Design was very good and construction was perfection. I couldn't ask for more. They showed up on time for the first appointment and showed up to install right on schedule. Their employees take a lot of pride in their work and I like that!

Contacted this company to do draw up plans for my yard and give me an estimate. The first time I called, I had to leave a message for the lady in charge of residential services. She responded after a day and set up an appointment for the following day at 5. I received a call from a neighbor that she was there an hour early. I requested that she return at the appropriate time which she called and left a message that she would have to reschedule due to rain. Understandable. However, she never returned my calls to reschedule. I called 3 times over a month to try to reschedule and was never even given one single call back. Horrible and unprofessional treatment of potential clients. What kind of service would they provide?? Going elsewhere.

They just told us a couple of things. They didn’t charge us anything for that. We wanted to redo some front flower beds about a year ago. They have a landscape designer that comes out and gives you ideas and draws the plan. She came out and she’s not the most pleasant person in the world to deal with. I called several times to see if the plan was done and she never did it. However they do have a young man who seems to be the one who takes care of their green house and I think his name is Todd. He was at first hard to get know also but I had found him to be like a walking encyclopedia. He’s wonderful. He’s there but he’s not the one that comes out to you’re home. He is a good resource once you get to know him. He’s very knowledgeable and makes good recommendations. He tells you how to take care of things. It’s a kind of a mixed bag. They were punctual. They came when they said they were going to and that was good. They weren’t professional at all. I made numerous phone calls over about a month and she never responded. I even called the office to see if someone could ask her and I never got any kind of response. I thought that was kind of weird. I would not use their services again in the future.

My overall experience with Southern Creations was o.k. They started out good, but it took a long time for them to complete the work. I would only recommend them if you don't need a job done in a hurry.

My overall experience with Southern Creations has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The completed project looks great. I would recommend them to others.
