Jon was professional and appeared eager to start construction of roof once outdoor patio was completed. Once it was his turn on the project, he showed up randomly for a couple hours and again every couple weeks sometimes blaming the delays on the city's inspection office. The project was completed approx two months behind schedule. Since then we've developed some structural issues with separating wood, water damage, water leaks where the roof meets the house running down onto the patio. We've attempted to contact Jon and leave a msg, he doesn't return calls. Our next step will be hiring an independent building inspector before deciding our next actions. Workmanship, reliability and integrity are questionable.

The project started out with the best of intentions. However, the issues started when the demolition was complete and construction began. The pace of construction was extremely slow and went passed our original schedule by several months. The quality of the work performed by the framers, plumber, the electrician, and the work performed by Jon himself, was poor and a lot of it had to be removed and rebuilt. Jon did as little as possible on our project. He was unwilling to share receipts, unresponsive, and unable to be trusted. We finally fired Jon and found a great contractor to finish the project.
