Description of Work: 2016 was a bad year for us in regards to our HVAC. Chad was referred to us by a colleague at work and he has been a life saver. He has helped us upgrade our HVAC return duct, repair a Freon leak, repair a clogged condensation drain pipe and replace a relay on a rental property AC unit.

Description of Work: We've been using Quality at our house and small commercial buildings for about 8 years. Chad and his guys do good work.

Description of Work: I have had experience with Quality Heating and Air working on the heat pump.

Description of Work: AC compressor wasn't running. Technician diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, changed the start capacitor and had it running again in another 10 minutes.

Description of Work: Quality replaced my compressor, cheaply, professionally, and quickly on one of the hottest days of the year.

Description of Work: Well, the fireworks woke me up at 1 AM so i got up to check on the dog and noticed the carpet was wet near the air conditioner. I opened up the cover and removed the filters to find the overflow drain underneath the evaporator was full of water and running over and onto the carpet. I turned the air off and the next morning I called Quality Heating and Air. I called at 8 am and they said they would have someone out there in 30 minutes but it was an hour. I can live with that. As usual they diagnosed the problem and the technician informed me that my drain pipe was clogged and that it was buried. The builders had put the drain under the gravel used to create the building pad for the house and called it a french ditch. I was going to have to dig out the drain pipe. After me and technician looked around at my neighbors set up, we noticed the drain pipe was near the other leads of the air/heat compressor outside. While I was digging for the drain pipe he went inside to check on the air compressor and used a shop vac to clean out all the water. After digging, I found the drain pipe and the technician cleaned out the drain pipe by flushing it. He informed me to use an air compressor to shoot air up into the drain pipe and he informed me that it may take more than one visit by him to get this pipe cleaned out. Well, an hour after he left, the water was backing up again and air had stopped shooting out cold air. I called back and they sent the same technician back to my house. He diagnosed the problem, a safety switch designed to shut down the compressor outside in case water begins to overflow in the unit had been triggered accidentally. He fixed the switch and made sure we had plenty of coolant (58 degrees cold yay). he also cleaned out the drain pipe one more time. I began to ask him that this was going to cost me another service call and he said don't worrry about since he was already out there this morning. That's why I keep calling these guys to work on my unit. Nothing but professionalism and they treat you fair. I have no problems since the 5th after I fired air up the drain pipe. Thanks Quality Heating and Air for all the good work you do. Keep it up.

Description of Work: My furnace was very old and I was afraid to use it one more season. I called several 'big' companies and got quotes for replacement. Everyone I called estimated around $6000!!! So, I saw Quality Heat and Air on Angie's List and tried them. They came right out to look, then called me within a couple of days with their quote... $2500!!!! Chad (owner) had called around the area and found my exact furnace! So, the 'big' companies had just thrown me a quick quote, but Chad had actually worked very hard to help me.
