Murfreesboro House Cleaning

I made an appointment for Dec 23 at 1:00 for 159.00 cleaning, 8 total hours. I paid Angie's List 55.65 to reserve the cleaning at that price. I was contacted by email. No one came. No one called. No one has been in touch with me since.

My house kept getting dirtier and dirtier. Their cleaning products don't clean. They don't wash the countertops well... while they do wipe them, if something is spilled, it will still be there when they leave. It is hard to see dirt on my countertops. I wipe my hand over them to ensure they are clean when I clean myself. After the maid service "cleans", the countertops still are not clean. You can still feel the dirt on the countertops. The spray stuff they use on the floor with a swiffer type mop does not clean the floors. After a few weeks of them cleaning, I could not walk barefoot on my floors without the bottom of my feet being black. They only dust around things and do not move things. So right after they leave, if you move the remote, there's dust and dirt under the remote. In their regular surface, they do not clean baseboards, windows, dirt in the corners of the room, under furniture (even if you can easily clean under it without moving it), spider webs, pictures. Really all they do is clean the tub/shower/toilet, half-clean the countertops, half dust, and move all the dirt around on the floor with their ineffective mopping products. And you can have this too, for $80 a week.

We have never had a cleaning service before but thought we would give it a shot. When contacting Shane he was very nice and on time. We scheduled a deep clean to begin. My definition of deep clean means everything is clean when done. That is not what we got. Yes, everything did look better but it was more like a general wipe down. Base boards still dirty, counter tops still sticky, ceiling fans not touched, soap scum still in shower, and pictures still dusty. I called Shane and discussed and they came back the next day. They did get most corrected but still missed on the fan, shower, and pictures. Again, all in all the house looks better but a lack of detail that I expected from a deep clean. I again text Shane on the second day and have not heard from him since. I sent him a check for payment but will not use again. If you are looking for a general wipe down they are ok but not for a deep clean.

I was expecting a few girls to be at the house but I was shocked that it was only one girl. She arrived on time which is very important to me. She was there for about four hours but the job she did was fantastic! I loved the little touches like the way she folded the towels and the toilet paper. My house has never looked better and I already set them up to come every two weeks to maintain the house. The prices can't be beat and the service was excellent.
