I emailed our issue to his website - our kenmore side-by-side stopped cooling / freezing but the fan was still blowing and the light was still working. I then followed up with a call. Mike told me he thought it was a part that needed replacing, that he probably had it in his truck because he kept most parts in his truck, and that he would call me when he was about 45 minutes from my house the next day. He called and I headed home from work, but he made it there quicker than he thought, and my husband let him in and showed him to the fridge. By the time i got there 15 minutes later, Mike was already already done with his review, screwing pieces back on, and said that he now thought the issue was even bigger but he could still work on it, but didn't recommend it. He then finished and stood up to go, telling us again that he could fix it but he thought we should buy a new one. He took our check for the estimate, and kept talking all the way out the door, not even asking us if we did, indeed, want him to fix our fridge. The next day, we called another repair man out who determined that it was a freon leak, which he found and patched, and our fridge has been running fine ever since.
